If you are the sort who can't stand being away from Facebook out of fear of missing a post or a poke from a pal, we found the bed for you. Sure, you could do what most people do and just charge your smartphone at the bedside, but this concept is better for the true Facebook fan. It's called the Facebook bed. I imagine Zuckerberg has something similar.
Growing up I really liked movies that had mythological creatures in them and Greek mythology in general. I was particularly fond of the idea of strange creatures like the centaur and the Cyclops. If you have a fascination for mythological creatures like flying lions, horse/men, and one-eyed giants and live in Tucson, Arizona, you need to check out the exhibit at the International Wildlife Museum.
Sony has tossed a very strange video up on YouTube that shows someone using a Xperia smartphone to hit a round button on the screen. As they walk down a path with various devices on tables and press the circle on the touchscreen, the devices randomly come on and do their thing. It's strange, and you can see the video below.
Apparently, a new molecule has been discovered floating around in the atmosphere that has the ability to possibly fight global warming. Researchers from the University of Manchester Bristol and Sandia National Laboratories in the US have detected the new molecule that has been dubbed Criegee biradicals.
I have worked at real jobs in the past surrounded by people that were possibly the biggest idiots on earth. I knew we have all wondered at one point who exactly interviewed this person next to us in the office and decided they were worth hiring. If you don't know that person in the office, odds are you are that person everyone wonders about. I've never been asked a really weird question in a job interview, but I would be willing to be that many geeks have.
In my area, there are no hotspots to use for free anywhere. You can get access in some restaurants, but just being able to pick up a WiFi signal doesn't happen. In Japan on the other hand, even the vending machines are tossing out free WiFi signals to people walking by on the streets. A beverage company in Tokyo called Asahi soft Drinks pulled the wraps off its new vending machine that not only puts out tasty beverages; it also offers free WiFi.
This is epic. A race driver named Jason White and his navigator were breaking in their new Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale at the 2011 Targa High Mountain race. Things were going well and they were flying by Porsches and other lesser rides on their way around the course. Not far from the end of the race the team noticed that their ride was on fire.
Oh hell yea, this may be the most awesome bit of death machine engineering in history of things sure to kill or maim. What you are looking at here is a 250hp, Ferrari-powered quad with slicks all around. This little beast is called the Lazareth Wazuma V8F. The beastie gets a 3.0L Ferrari V8 engine hiding underneath that thin bodywork.
Residents in a small community in Cowley County, Kansas got the thrill of the year recently when a flatbed trailer came driving down main street with what appeared to be a saucer shaped craft on the trailer. According to the local sheriff's office, the company that was transporting the craft asked for assistance since they had to move it over the ground.
Here is a bit of morning strange for you all. As the story goes a British pensioner was trying to inspect her tonsils 25 years ago using a felt tip pen to push her tongue down. Apparently, the woman slipped whilst the pen was in her mouth and swallowed it down her gullet. She told her husband and he took her to the doctor.
