Casio Bluetooth 4.0 smartwatch pairs with DoCoMo Android phone

Casio's Bluetooth 4.0 smartwatch plans are nearing fruition, with the first pairing of a low-power wireless watch and Android smartphone headed to Japan's NTT DoCoMo in the next few days. The NEXT MEDIA PP N-01D offers the usual Japanese niceties, like a 4-inch WVGA AMOLED touchscreen, wireless charging, 8.1-megapixel camera, along with water and dust resilience, but can be paired with a special Casio MEDIAS PP-SHOCK GB-6900 watch. Cadence Ecomatic sport watch offers twin charge options

Cadence's binary watches are endearingly geeky if you're of the 8-bit persuasion, but the company's new Ecomatic sport eschews gimmicks in favor of dual-power. Olympus TOUGH TG-810 “crushproof” camera packs GPS

Olympus' second camera of the day can't do anything as fancy as shoot high quality video and images simultaneously, but you can at least throw it under the nearest 100kg weight and still expect it to function. The Olympus TOUGH TG-810 arguably tempts fate by describing itself as "crushproof," and packs a 14-megapixel sensor, 5x optical zoom, dual-image stabilization and  integrated GPS and electronic compass.

Fujifilm FinePix XP30 packs GPS into rugged digicam

It's also dust and sandproof, and if you opt for the XP30 then you get a GPS chip to geotag your photos.
