Parmigiani Fleurier Bugatti Watch looks amazing

It’s the Bugatti Type 370 watch, and it is truly a work of art. It even won the 2006 Watch of the Year award from the Japanese press. The initial goal was to make the watch only available to Bugatti Veyron owners, since it is a driving watch, themed after the car company. However, the huge demand for this watch has made cause for its release upon the general public instead of the select few who own one of those highly coveted $1.25mil+ cars. Read The Full Story

TAGHeuer Monaco 69 is literally two-faced

Looking for a watch to satiate even the lowest educated person in your family? So what Uncle Bobby can’t read an analog clock, just get him this watch and he can work on it in his spare time and still be on time. On one side there is a very professional looking analog face that looks great. Then you can flip it over to reveal the LCD-powered digital face. Sure its an LCD but it keeps it simple with a light on dark approach. Read The Full Story

Modular ‘Lobster’ concept has snap-on GPS, camera

, Sep 5th 2007 Discuss [0]

If you're going to call your concept "Lobster" then it damn well better have snappy-claws!  It's an instant point knocked off for Danilio Mangini's modular wristband, but they quickly score again thanks to a concept product that might actually be useful.  The Lobster is a core screen and cellphone with detachable modules that each bring different functionality; for instance, you may snap on a GPS module, or alternatively a MP3 player.   Read The Full Story

QuestoDesign Abacus Watches Attract Minimalists

The Abacus watch is so minimal that they only sign that you might be able to somehow get the time from it is the little ball rolling around inside it. The little ball actually does sort of tell time, the face is blank so really it only gives you a good estimate. Read The Full Story

Tokyoflash Morse Code Watch Annoying As Hell

Sure, Tokyoflash has put out some moderately annoying, and hard to tell time timepieces before, but I really think this one takes the cake. Sure the picture of the Morse Code Watch shows the time rather straightforwardly, but don’t let that confuse you.

Its true mission is to give you a brain aneurysm while trying to figure out the time. Apparently there are three different “code” modes, one of which is Morse, the other two, I have yet to find an article or retailer even hinting as to what they are other than to say you probably need secret service training from somewhere to figure them out.

Nike AMP+ iPod Watch

This isn’t the first watch to integrate iPod functions, but it is the first from Nike. The watch looks very basic, black on the outside, and bright red on the inside. You can also only see the screen when its on, which I assume means it has some sort of off switch or at least a standby mode. I guess the AMP+ is designed to be linked to a Nike+ capable iPod Nano. When the connection is mad the AMP+ can display tons of info from your iPod and can even control it. Apparently there have been 13 of them sighted. They are due out for the general public in a few months, with an, as yet, undisclosed price. Nike Amp Watch Leaked [via OhGizmo]

New Ammon “Proof” Digital Watch Looks Great

Ammon appears to be a fairly new watchmaker, and they seem to be quite good at it too. I can’t say personally how well they work, but they certainly look new, fresh, and nice. The company originates in California and recently released this new line of watches, the “Proof”. They all have leather bands slightly wider than the actual watch itself, and they are all integrated into the band. Read The Full Story

SMS Technology’s M500 Cell Phone Watch

The phone, or watch, however you choose to refer to it, looks a lot like those Fossil Microsoft watches they launched a while back, but better. The phone is supposed to have quad-band GSM at 850, 900, 1800, and 1900Mhz spectrums. The watch is also water-resistant and has an MP3 player. It also has Bluetooth, 128MB memory, USB connectivity, and, get this, a touch screen, you can’t get that on anything short of a limited number of smartphones and the ever-popular iPhone.
