Welcome to heck. Saints Row: Gat out of Hell is like a Saints Row half - not quite a full game ready to out-do the previous release, but certainly not a DLC. Stand-alone and ready to keep with the furious madness delivered in Saints Row IV. Today we get gameplay.
The teams at Deep Silver / Volition have let it be known that they’re bringing Saints Row IV "Re-Elected" to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 27th. With this game - a re-imagining of Saints Row 4 - they’ll be including Saints Row: Gat out of Hell. But the packaging is a bit confusing.
A new "standalone expansion" to the Saints Row series has been revealed during PAX Prime 2014. This game will have the Saints attempting to rescue their lost boss in the pits of Hell. The President of the United States of America, you, are in Hell. but you won’t be playing as you, you’ll be playing as Kinsey or Johnny Gat.
Welcome to the next chapter in the Saints Row saga. The team at Deep Silver Uk have made with the teaser for the next installment, and there’s no hint of the number 5. Five would make general sense, given the last four were called Saints Row (insert number here), but there’s no sense when it comes to the attitude and general cockiness of the Saints Row series.
More information has come to light in the Saint’s Row/Deep Silver PAX event saga. While Deep Silver has been mum as to what game they’re revealing this Friday specifically (insert Saints Row 5 here), they have confirmed that their Friday event at PAX will exist - complete with clues that heavily suggest another Saints Row title release.
It’s very, very early to start speaking about Saints Row V if you’re only considering the details that’ve been released by Deep Silver / Volition. It’s also early so suggest that the game might be near completion, given the amount of time that’s passed between each successive release in the series. But the rumblings have begun, nonetheless, and the first official details could be here as soon as August 29th, 2014.
Saint's Row is a game that's brought a rather odd assortment of open-world experiences to the fingertips of PC gamers for several generations. It's a game that exists in the Grand Theft Auto-like universe of open sandbox playability: here offering a place for gamers to run around like wild, doing whatever they might, driving, interacting with fellow characters, and everything in-between. This world is strange, and with Saint's Row IV, it's about to get a lot stranger: but up until now, the game has been closed to the modders of the world.
It's time again for the most wild and crazy blast of do-anything gaming madness with the next chapter of the franchise: Saints Row IV. The idea that this game series would continue was doused last year as the original owner of the title THQ was kicked in the gut and closed shop - as it turns out, the developers behind the series survived, and being purchased by none other than Koch Media in the time between then and now, Volition will once again be allowing us into their collective wild and crazy mind environment. The teaser for Saint's Row IV was revealed today.
