Vizio has updated its PC range with a pair of touch-capable all-in-ones, adding 10-finger multitouch to ready them for Windows 8, while also tweaking its notebooks with new trackpads. The new 24- and 27-inch All-in-One Touch PC models offer Intel Core processors, like their non-touch brethren we reviewed recently, as well as 1080p Full HD displays and 2.1 audio systems. Vizio launches 58-inch Cinemawide 21:9 HDTV

One of the things I never like when I'm watching Blu-ray movies on my TV in the living room is the annoying black bars on the top and bottom of the screen. Hollywood movies are filmed in 2.35:1 aspect ratio, meaning you have black bars above and below the picture. Back at CES 2012, Vizio revealed that it wouldn’t just be pumping out affordable televisions but also Google TV set top boxes. One of the devices at the time held the uninspired VAP430 moniker, but the company has today announced that the box has officially launched, and is now called the Vizio Co-Star. This week Vizio has come out swinging with several new models for their soon to be rather popular computing lineup with a couple of all-in-one models and no less than three notebooks. Vizio All-in-One PC launches with Ivy Bridge

This is the first day that the folks at Vizio bring on their PC collection with both desktops and notebooks, having just been a television brand in the past. This first reveal includes first of all a set of two all-in-one computers, one with a 24-inch display at 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, the other with a 27-inch display with 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution. Both computers work with 3rd Generation Intel Core (Ivy Bridge) processors, both have NVIDIA Kepler GeForce GPU units, and both work with lovely 2.1 surround sound.
