Importers Dynamism have released pricing and specification details for the Viliv S7, the latest ultraportable touchscreen device from the Korean company.  Coming after the surprisingly popular S5 and well-received X70, the S7 adds a QWERTY keyboard and uses a more traditional netbook-style form-factor; according to Dynamism, when it drops in the US it'll be priced from $629. Viliv S7 flagship with 2GHz Atom & 3G tipped for international buyers

Earlier on today we told you about Viliv's Korean prices and specifications for their upcoming S7 convertible touchscreen UMPC; now we have word on the international versions.  Not only will these offer the same Intel Atom Z520 1.33GHz processor, but there'll also be a "flagship" model with a 2.0GHz Atom processor (likely the Z550), a 32GB SSD, integrated 3G and a free upgrade to Windows 7. CES 2009: Viliv S5, S7 and X70 Atom MIDs

Some of the most anticipated devices at CES have been Yukyung’s Viliv range of PMPs, UMPCs and MIDs.  The company has three models on show this week, the S5 “Entertainment” MID, the X70 Atom ”Communication” MID, and the S7 “Productivity” MID.  The S7, shown here, has a 7-inch WSVGA convertible display, full QWERTY keyboard and either 16GB SSD or 60GB hard-drive.

Viliv S7 UMPC: WiMAX, Atom, GPS and 7-inch convertible touchscreen

After the S5 MID we saw yesterday, Viliv were promising more big news from IDF 2008; it looks like they've delivered, with the S7 UMPC.  Running a range of Atom CPUs, up to 1.8GHz, the S7 has a 7-inch SVGA touchscreen, GPS, internal WiMAX or HSDPA and an internal DMB TV tuner.  It also has a full QWERTY keyboard and up to 9hrs battery life.
