Viewsonic Android 2.2 tablet imminent?

Viewsonic's tablet plans have apparently been scooped by a talkative source, with Stuff.tv claiming that the company - best known for its LCD monitors - is preparing a 7-inch Android 2.2. Froyo slate for imminent release.  The unnamed tablet is expected to include GSM/UMTS connectivity, for voice calls and presumably data access as well, together with a rear-mounted camera (of either 3- or 5-megapixels).

ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102 netbook is a few months too late

Someone really needs to take ViewSonic to one side and let them know that the netbook market has moved on.  The company have announced their first such machine, the ViewSonic ViewBook VNB102, and it's a dreary reminder of everything that bored us about the first twelve months of netbook specifications.  Intel's Atom N270, a 10.1-inch display and 160GB hard-drive are first to prompt yawns, and Windows 7 Starter certainly isn't going to change that.
