CeBIT 2010 isn't all about netbooks and tablets; there are peripherals there too.  SteelSeries have outed their latest gaming combo, the SteelSeries 6Gv2 gaming keyboard and the SteelSeries 7H headset.  The former can recognize "as many simultaneous key presses as there are keys on the keyboard" for those particularly hectic late-night gaming sessions, while the latter gets closed ear-cups each with a 50mm driver. Western Digital have outed a new portable hard-drive, the My Passport Studio, and like the My Book Studio before it they've slapped on a super-frugal E Ink panel to show drive status details.  Available in 320GB, 500GB and 640GB capacities, the My Passport Studio has both FireWire 800 and USB 2.0 connections and comes ready formatted for use with a Mac. Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 boasts 3 year battery

Logitech have outed their latest keyboard and mouse bundle, and according to the company the Logitech Wireless Desktop MK710 is the first to market where both devices boast three-year battery life.  Both of the wireless peripherals connect to a single Unifying Receiver dongle, and the keyboard has an LCD display to show status and Incurve keys which are apparently more comfortable to type on. USB Host mod for Motorola DROID promises accessory support

Plugging a USB memory stick, keyboard, mouse or even a printer into your Motorola DROID could be possible very soon, thanks to a new hack that adds USB Host support to the Android smartphone.  Modder Chris Paget and friends discovered that Motorola had used USB-OTG compliant hardware for the DROID, crippling it only by virtue of the microUSB port; one thrown-together adapter cable and a tiny dongle that triggers the Host mode later, and the DROID will recognize USB peripherals.
