Call of Duty: Black Ops Censored in Germany, International Versions Blocked by Steam

It may not be as controversial as another First Person Shooter (FPS) title that was recently released, but it looks like Treyarch and Activision's upcoming title, Call of Duty: Black Ops, won't be arriving in Germany in its pristine condition. According to PCGames.de, the title has been banned in Germany, which means that a censored version of the title will be landing in the country. But, if you're a PC gamer expecting to get around the ban by playing a different country's version, you're also out of luck.

Treyarch’s Call of Duty: Black Ops will Feature 3D as an Option

For development studio Treyarch, the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops is a lot of things. First and foremost, though, it's the Call of Duty after Modern Warfare 2, so they know they have a lot of work ahead of them. But Activision obviously has faith in the development house, as they've released popular titles in the past, like World at War. And now it looks like everyone agrees that 3D will help Black Ops stand out, so the feature has bee included as an option that users can either turn on or leave alone.
