Star Wars trailer coming tonight, so says this $10k guarantee

Tonight a presentation at San Diego Comic Con promises to be the birthplace of a brand new bit of footage from the future of Star Wars. Whether or not it'll be from The Force Awakens or an "Anthology" film like Rogue One is still up for debate. What's not up for debate, according to filmmaker Kevin Smith, is whether or not they'll be showing any new footage to the public. Smith just last night made a $10,000 bet that Disney would show new Star Wars video at their presentation tonight.

WITNESS CONAN drive to SDCC in the Mad Max DOOF Wagon

It's time to head to Comic-con - Conan O’Brien has already begun his journey in a MAD MAX vehicle. Those of you that've already seen the newest Mad Max movie will recognize this as the DOOF Wagon. That's the vehicle that plays music for the war party in the 2-hour chase sequence that spans the entire film. While Conan might not have his eyes gouged out like the real Doof guitar player, he's got the head bandages, the red jumpsuit, and the fire guitar to make the part his own.

Star Wars Uprising gameplay shows age after “Jedi”

Earlier this year Lucasfilm and Disney revealed that "Star Wars: Uprising" would be one of several games that'd forge the future of the film franchise. In-game players would take on the role of a rebel rising up against the Empire immediately following the destruction of the second Death Star. That means this game takes place immediately following Return of the Jedi. Now we get our first brief glimpse of gameplay. Just keep telling yourself that just because it's mobile, it doesn't have to be meaningless - this game is going to have real consequences.

Uncharted 4 extended gameplay trailer launched post-E3

What you're about to see is a gameplay trailer from the PlayStation 4 version of Uncharted 4: A Thief's End. This trailer is for a game that'll be released inside the year 2016 for PlayStation 4. The big deal here - if you're not already convinced to watch it yourself and have your eyes blown out of their sockets - is that the game looks extraordinarily good for a console title. The transition between the cutscene at the start and the gameplay is enough to toss us reeling.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5 gameplay/interview trailers released

This week the folks at Activision are ramping up - pun intended - for Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5. They're releasing both trailers in gameplay and trailers in interviews, all leading up to the first Tony Hawk Pro Skater full release in 13 years. Tony Hawk Pro Skater 4 was released all the way back in 2002, while a number of spin-offs and odd games like "Underground" were released in the meantime. Now it's time to return to the formula that made Tony Hawk's Pro Skater series great.

Fear the Walking Dead arrives in August, new trailer drops

Fear the Walking Dead arrives in August, new trailer drops

AMC's upcoming Fear the Walking Dead series is launching later on this summer (if you're hoping for a release date, we're a little closer to knowing). We have another teaser trailer, as well, and it is a sign that maybe AMC should work on its trailer-making abilities. Not to spoil anything, but the trailer has a man running. And that's it. He has, presumably, seen his first walker, and considering that he's pulling his pants up while running we're guessing the walker made its appearance with unfortunate timing.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 trailer crosses the line

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain E3 trailer crosses the line

The newest trailer for Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is also the bloodiest. It's not something you're going to want to watch if you've just eaten lunch. Here you'll see the story of being "a child when we were raided by soldiers." Behold the tape, as well. There lies the song "From the man who sold the world" - whether or not it's a song or an invitation, we'll find out soon enough. "His country, his family, his face, his identity - everything was stolen from him."
