Simpsons Pixel video: the retro Couch Gag

Simpsons Pixel video: the retro Couch Gag

It's time go get retro-futuristic with The Simpsons as a gang of creators pixelate the Couch Gag. This is a "pixel tribute" to The Simpsons as directed and animated by Paul Robertson and Ivan Dixon. Music here is a midi-style update of the Simpsons theme by Jeremy Dower. Prepare yourself for a bunch of odd-flavored craziness - memories of the past mixed with game-style graphics making one intro we dearly wish was at the front of a whole episode. Alas, it is 3rd-party excellence.

Netflix’s ‘Wet Hot American Summer’ gets first teaser trailer

It was nearly a year ago when rumors surfaced that Netflix would be rebooting Wet Hot American Summer, something that was eventually confirmed and has since been ongoing. It took several months of patience, but we've finally got our first official look at the show via its first trailer, which Netflix released yesterday. The first rumors had tipped that the original cast was being pursued to reprise their roles, and now that the trailer is here we see that such information was (mostly) true.

Better Call Saul trailer for Netflix released

Better Call Saul trailer for Netflix released

Better Call Saul, the spin-off show from the hit series Breaking Bad, will be arriving on AMC on February 8 as part of a two-day premiere. Of course, the series will also be making its way to Netflix in due time, and all signs point to that wait between airing and streaming to be a short one -- at least for those in the UK. Last year word had it that US Netflix users won't be getting streaming access to the show until after its first season ends, but those in the UK will be getting access the day after it premieres.

Fantastic 4 reboot trailer: showing real promise

Fantastic 4 reboot trailer: showing real promise

The same studio that brought you the X-Men movies is giving a bit of a reboot to the Fantastic Four. The first couple of Fantastic Four (or Fantastic 4, if you prefer) films didn't do so hot - the actor who played Johnny Storm left the project to become Captain America with Marvel, if that's any indicator - now it's time to give the title a kick in the pants. Instead of continuing to roll with the same cast and the same plot, 20th Century Fox is bringing heat with a "re-imagining" of the team.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt trailer drops ahead of Netflix debut

In November 2014, it was revealed that NBC's Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt would be arriving on Netflix instead of the network, the reasons for which revolving around NBC's drama-heavy mid-season schedule and the belief that the show would do best on the video streaming service. While we've known for a while now what the show would be about, we haven't yet been given actual look at the series -- until today. The Netflix-branded series trailer has officially dropped, and is likely the first of several that'll arrive before the series debuts.

Marvel’s Ant-Man: first full length trailer goes live

Marvel’s Ant-Man: first full length trailer goes live

Last week, Marvel teased eager fans with a pre-movie trailer video that offered clips from the actual first trailer -- only they were in tiny ant-sized windows too small for anyone to actually see. We blew up the clips and they gave a fuzzy, if somewhat frustrating glimpse at what was going on in the scenes, but ultimately it was a wait-and-see game until the actual trailer was released. Now it's here, and we get a full human-sized look at those clips, as well as nearly two minutes of other footage.

Marvel’s Ant-Man teased with teeny movie clips

Marvel's Ant-Man, the movie that had a bit of a rough spell before ultimately casting Paul Rudd and recently entering production, has officially been teased -- and by teased, we mean a literal tease, in that viewers are shown several clips from the movie that are entirely too small to actually see. Clips for ants, more or less. If you have eagle eyes or happen to be excellent at discerning rapid minuscule movie segments, however, we've got the "trailer" for you after the jump.
