Ender’s Game trailer reveals child genius training for future alien war

, May 7th 2013 Discuss [0]

It’s finally time to get a good look at the film adaptation of the science fiction novel classic Ender’s Game with the first official full-length trailer for the movie. This trailer is just under two minutes long and has Harrison Ford speaking in what might be the least intense declaration of intent in the history of on-film representations of the military, rivaled only by his admittedly unenthusiastic voice-over for the theater version of Blade Runner. That said, the visuals appear to be bringing a fully prepared vision from director Gavin Hood and producer Bob Orci.

Each of these characters will be playable by the user in the game as it's released in the near future - this sort of playability shows Rockstar's understanding of the gamer in our modern gaming market today: they like choices! The Wolverine movie gets 6-second trailer on Vine

, Mar 25th 2013 Discuss [0]

What you're about to see is a series of clips from a trailer for the next Wolverine (Marvel Comics) movie starring Hugh Jackman and one whole heck of a lot of swords. This movie will take place largely in modern-day Japan where our best beastly buddy will take on evil in a rather ancient sort of way. The trailer, you'll find, offers very few clues as to what we're going to see in the film - other than many, many fights and a whole lot of bladework going on. Read The Full Story

If you're all about the next Star Trek movie "Into Darkness", you'll be more than pumped up about the newest full trailer, stacked to the brim with no fewer explosions than you'll need to blow your eardrums out. What we're still not sure of is who this enemy of our friendly protagonists is. What we ARE sure of is the fact that, whether or not we've heard of this bad guy before, we'll be flipping out over the awesome crash of first-generation Federation ship into the sea and up against the shore of what we're pretty sure is London, England. Today is the day we continue the Tony Stark saga with the first full theatrical trailer for Iron Man 3, complete with full views of the main villain, plotline confirmations galore, and a bit of a teaser of what's sure to be the final battle of the film. This movie contains much contemplation on the part of Robert Downey Jr.'s Tony Stark character and some hard decisions made by both he and his associates regarding the defense of the United States of America. To do this, for starters, they'll be rolling out with Iron Patriot - clad in the stars and stripes of the USA flag on an Iron Man body. Read The Full Story

BioShock Infinite “Icarus” trailer series redefines the art

, Feb 15th 2013 Discuss [0]

This week we're seeing the second in a series of retro-documentary trailers made for the upcoming game BioShock Infinite going by the name "Columbia: a Modern Day Icarus?" The actual content of the game becomes more enticing each moment one watches each of the two trailers that have been released thus far, so much so that I've passed these video spots on to friends and colleagues even when they're not the type of people who would ever end up playing the final product. This sharing is important in and of itself, as the medium almost becomes the message itself with such zeal as we'd only otherwise find in an art film meant for a gallery. Read The Full Story
