Huge LEGO Millennium Falcon – Over 5,000 pieces!

I love pretty much everything that is Star Wars. Except Jar Jar Binks of course, but I don't think anyone really likes him. I also have a love for LEGO's. In fact, I still have my childhood collection in my closet. Naturally, my favorite sets are those that feature some of the famous ships from the Star Wars universe. I think that if I had a larger place, I would probably have to get this new Millennium Falcon set. Read The Full Story

Kids Crooked House makes just that, crooked houses for kids

Obviously they aren’t full out houses, but more along the lines of a play house, but its still cool. I remember back in the day when they still showed good cartoons, like Foghorn Leghorn, Roadrunner, Woody the Woodpecker, Porky the Pig, and so many more of the classics, they really were great. Well now you can bring those days back for you and your kids with a new playhouse for your offspring. There is a company that actually makes those crooked homes you used to always see in the cartoons, I have no idea why they were always poorly proportioned and crooked, but they were. Climb@Tron R.E.X.

It’s a wall climbing robot. It has some sort of vacuum suction system on it that allows it to cling to walls like Spiderman. For some reason I am doubtful of its ability to navigate in one direction or the other, likely it’s just up and down the wall with no left or right movement. Plus it will only work on clean, flat surfaces so that’s another downer. Read The Full Story

Childrens puzzle table looks kinda cool and is functional

Remember those little cheap 3x3 square slider puzzles you used to get when you were a kid? The ones where it was all scrambled up and you had to move them around to form the image, and they would always jam up and break, yeah those, but in a table. There are actually nine storage compartments underneath each of the panels. The easy sliding mechanism should keep it from jamming up like the cheap generic plastic ones from your childhood. The designer is Robin Dashnaw, and since its just in its prototype stages, no price or availability. Read The Full Story

Spiderman portable radio made from Spidey’s severed head

Just like the picture shows, it’s a radio, based on the wall clinger’s head. It can do AM/FM radio and play CDs. There is also a handle and a gaudy antenna. To bad its not a more up to date version with an iPod dock and HD radio support, then it would be worth it. Read The Full Story

Shadow Stormtrooper helmet may be only Star Wars item on Ebay with no bids

It’s a Shadow Stormtrooper helmet that has been made by Master Replicas. It’s a limited edition item and it looks pretty cool. Its not too terribly limited as there are going to be 500 of them made. That, plus the fact it was selling for $150 less only a month ago are contributing factors to it not selling. Read The Full Story

Electric Spin the Bottle – For those too good to spin a real bottle

, Sep 17th 2007 Discuss [0]

Kids have got it so easy these days, what with cell phones, high-speed internet and all of the other cool technology that wasn't around when I was a kid. Heck, I remember when I was a teenager the game Spin the Bottle actually required the use of a real bottle. Thankfully youngsters don't have to deal with all of the problems that arose from using a glass bottle. Read The Full Story

Hasbro Power Tour Guitar has launched, bears Gibson name

All the way from January, this nifty little guitar works a lot like guitar hero, without the whole video game aspect of it. The entire fret board is also used instead of just a few buttons. There are 12 tracks that are supposed to be preloaded for you to jam out to. There is also a neat little learning mode for you, or your offspring, to learn how to use it and then to learn to play your favorite songs. Read The Full Story

The Super Mario Bros Sound Effects Plush

Super Mario Bros is one of those games that make you wonder if they make more money on the games or on the toys that have followed. It seems there is always an overabundance of mario clothes, toys and gadgets. Read The Full Story

Hov Pod personal hovercraft works all seasons

The Hov Pod is retailing for a little less than $27k. That means a few things, first, you have to be loaded to buy it, second, it better work for longer than the few months of summer and in more locations than on water. And it does, apparently if its flat, this thing will work, that means water, mud, sand, snow, maybe even roads. It will even go 45 MPH! That’s just crazy to go 45 on something that is just floating, a good industrial fan could probably knock you off course. Read The Full Story

Lego Star Wars Clock allows you to build Star Wars scenes and tell time

The package comes with the clock, and a Chewy and Storm Trooper figurines. The clock itself features a light/snooze button as well as a timer of sorts. So, you can build an X-wing or something like that to place on top of it, or you could just carefully position the included Storm Trooper and Chewbacca on top and call it done. Regardless, some might recommend you just set this clock on your desk, I say the geeks finally have a Flavor-Flav style clock for them. Read The Full Story
