Tokyoflash has outed its latest difficult-to-decipher watch, the Kisai Online, based on a fan design and using accelerometers to automatically make the screen a little easier to decode. The new timepiece follows the Japanese company's usual chunky design language, with a cryptic stream of lines and curves running across the fascia; tilt the watch toward you, however, and the excess lines fall away to show the time. Tokyoflash digital pocket watch adds touch to an old classic

Arch geekwatch manufacturers Tokyoflash have revealed their latest special edition, the Kisai Rogue Touch Pocket Watch, ideal for the distinguished systems engineer who prefers a Saville Row suit rather than a Star Wars t-shirt. Based on the existing Rogue Touch but trading the strap for a pop-open glass cover and a fetching chain, the digital display uses Tokyoflash's usual odd combination of chips and dots to show the time in two different timezones. Tokyoflash has revealed its latest unusual timepiece, the Kisai Seven, but rather than come from the oddball drawing boards of the company's Japanese designers, it's actually the handiwork of a fan. UK designer Scott Galloway turned to Tron for his initial inspiration, submitting the concentric circle design as a fan concept last year; little did he know, Tokyoflash would decide to manufacture it.
