Thermaltake’s Level 10 PC case is half monolith to computing excess and half work of art, and we’ve been hoping the company would greenlight a production run since we first spotted it.  Happily that’s now happening, and if you’d like to see what $700 of chassis looks like then MaximumPC have the unboxing for you.

A new liquid-cooling setup from Thermaltake has been announced, the PW880i, offering more flexibility than the company’s all-in-one systems.  Consisting of a copper water block, a tank, a P500 pump and a 24cm Motorsports Radiator, the PW88oi is intended for mainstream processor sockets such as the AMD AM2 or Intel’s P4 478.

Reminding us of Thermaltake’s monster Level 10 PC case, this is actually the Edelweiss PC, the handiwork of Pius Geiger and in fact initially constructed all the way back in 2006.  Updated this year with a crisp new white color-scheme, the water-cooled Edelweiss separates out drives, graphics and power-supply, and then illuminates them with a discrete but effective lighting system.

Thermaltake have been showing off their special edition Level 10 PC case, created in association with BMW Designworks, at CeBIT this week.  Unlike most cases, which try to fit everything inside one big dull box, Level 10 looks as though the shell has been vacuum-packed around each of the components.

They have a new XaserVI Mx case that is a mid-tower version of the amazing XaserVI. They’ve kept the whole thing covered in mesh metal grills, filled with fans, and organized so that the GPU(s), CPU(s), and HDD(s) all have their own path of air flow for optimal cooling. There is tool-free installation of everything except the motherboard and power supply, and the mid-tower size will look a little better on top of your desk.
