HTC Quattro Tegra 3 tablet pictured & detailed

HTC‘s upcoming Tegra 3 based tablet, the HTC Quattro, has been revealed in a leaked official render, complete with hardware spec details ahead of the slate’s expected early 2012 release. Fronted by a 10.1-inch 1280 x 768 display, believed to use the same Scribe digital stylus as the existing HTC Flyer and Jetstream, the Quattro will pair 1GB of RAM with its quadcore processor, Pocketnow‘s sources say, along with Bluetooth 4.0.

Acer Iconia Tab A700/A701 Full HD Tegra 3 tablet revealed

Details of an Acer tablet running NVIDIA’s Tegra 3 processor with a Full HD resolution display have emerged, hot on the heels of the apparent confirmation of the mid-range Iconia Tab A501/A511. The Acer Iconia Tab A700/A701 was spotted in amongst profile documentation on the company’s support site, complete with a pixel-dense 1920 x 1200 WUXGA display and NVIDIA’s new quadcore chipset.

Lenovo ICS Tegra 3 tablet incoming

Lenovo is reportedly readying an Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich tablet for launch by the end of 2011, running Google’s new platform on NVIDIA’s 1.6GHz Tegra 3 quadcore chipset. The mysterious new 10.1-inch slate offers 2GB of 1,600MHz DDR3 memory, Engadget‘s tipster claims, along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner intended not only for biometric security but also to double as an optical joystick for navigating lengthy webpages and ebooks.

HTC Tegra 3 Android tablet tipped for Feb 2012

HTC is preparing a quad-core Android tablet for launch in February 2012, according to the latest rumors, along with at least two Android smartphones. This week we both saw the official announcement of the ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime and the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor that would power it – and today we get a special treat from ZTOP: a hands-on treatment complete with a size comparison to the comparatively hefty iPhone 4 (or the iPhone 4S). What kind of comparison is that, you might ask, why compare a tablet to a smartphone? Because the iPhone was sitting on the guy’s desk and he had an ASUS Transformer Prime to take some photos of, that’s why. Fujitsu Arrows LTE Tab Android slate aims directly at hardcore market

This week we've already seen one tablet that's set to be nearly indestructible AND able to run Android in a single bound, now here's another - this one goes by the name Fujitsu Arrows LTE Tab and is able to be submerged under water completely, not just sprayed a bit in the face. It's a 10.1-inch display having 1280 x 800 pixel resolution toting Android 3.2 Honeycomb tablet at the moment, and inside you'll find Tegra! Not Tegra 3, unfortunately, that honor is thus far reserved for the ASUS amongst us. UPDATE: There's been some confusion about the chip inside this device - though the video below says NVIDIA, inside this tablet is actually the lovely Texas Instruments OMAP4430, seen in quite a few excellent Androids as of late - take note! NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core mobile processor revealed and detailed

The next generation of mobile processors has arrived in the form of the NIVIDA Tegra 3, formerly known as Project Kal-El, a quad-core chipset with aspirations to dominate the Android landscape in 2012 as the Tegra 2 dual-core processor dominated the majority of 2011. Though many of the details have already been revealed by NVIDIA before today on how Tegra 3 functions and is able to bring you the consumer more power, less battery consumption, and more effective workload distribution, this marks both the official naming of the chip as well as the official distribution of easy to process videos on how Tegra 3 will affect the average mobile device user.

ASUS Eee Pad Transformer Prime announced with Tegra 3 quad-core processor

Today both NVIDIA and ASUS have revealed two new products, both of them coming together here in one product: the Eee Pad Transformer Prime, a 10.1-inch display toting Android tablet with NVIDIA’s newest prized processor: the quad-core Tegra 3. The ASUS Eee Pad Transformer is the second Android tablet to have been released by the manufacturer, the first being the break-out hit original Transformer, and here in the Prime we’ve got a tablet that’s twice as powerful, in more ways than one. This tablet will be the first Android device on earth with a quad-core processor and has already been seen to be crushing benchmark tests before its official unveiling today – this is already clearly the most powerful Android device on Earth.

HTC Edge leaks continue: NFC & iPhone-rivaling HD display

Tidbits on the HTC Edge, the rumored quadcore smartphone that could potentially catapult HTC back to the top-spot in Android devices, continue to emerge after yesterday’s leak. In addition to the NVIDIA Tegra 3 processor – running at 1.5GHz, supposedly, and paired with 1GB of RAM – the Edge will supposedly include NFC, according to BGR. That’s to go along with the 4.7-inch 720p HD S-LCD 2 display with optical lamination.

ASUS Transformer Prime sets massive benchmark pre-release

Over the past few weeks we’ve been seeing glimpses of the next big tablet release from ASUS, one that’s all but guaranteed to carry the NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core processor, and today according to AnTuTu benchmarking system, we see that not only does this pair exist, it’s a powerhouse! What you’re seeing here in this post is a stack of benchmarks that’ve been recorded by AnTuTu (an app which tests synthetically several innards of an Android device including CPU, graphics, and more) and right up on top you’ll see nothing less than the ASUS Transformer Prime, complete with a quad-core processor running at 1.4GHz! Grand Theft Auto 3 set for NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core optimized play

You may remember back in the middle of October when it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 3 would be coming back for a 10th anniversary edition that'd work with both Android and iOS - now it appears that NVIDIA is getting in on the action with Rockstar, providing their next-gen Kal-El (aka Tegra 3) quad-core processor-toting Android tablet to the group so that they can optimize the game for ultimate supremacy. Word comes this week from Adam Rosenberg who this week had the opportunity to check the soon to be released game out on the unnamed Kal-El NVIDIA tablet, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4S. With the Kal-El tablet came the biggest surprises, both in that the game was running not on the tablet itself but through its TV-out connection, and secondly that Android's ability to work with USB controllers is programmed into the game so that an Xbox 360 controller works perfectly well!
