Toshiba has launched a new range of Excite Android tablets, spanning 7.7-inches to 13-inches and each running NVIDIA's quadcore Tegra 3 processor. The new Excite 10, Excite 13 and Excite 7.7 slates run Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and have a 5-megapixel main camera along with 2-megapixel front cameras; they also offer, in the form of the Excite 13, one of the biggest screen resolutions we've seen so far on an Android tablet, running at 1600 x 900.

HTC One X Hands-on with Tegra 3 Gaming
We’ve been checking out the HTC One series all week this week, both the HTC One S and the HTC One X, the latter being the one with the NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core processor, showing their finesse in the performance world. We’ve also had a peek at the HTC One S gaming performance specifically with its dual-core processor from Qualcomm. Now it’s time to check out NVIDIA’s prowess where they tout it the most: gaming with Tegra-enhanced games.

It’s been a big week for Android – and specifically for HTC – with the new HTC One X and One S braving reviewers, being found (for the most part) impressive, and hitting store shelves. UK carriers have begun offering the two new Ice Cream Sandwich handsets priced from free with new agreements, while SIM-free models have already begun shipping out to arrive with pre-order customers. There’s plenty of excitement around what’s become a significant relaunch for HTC, so read on for all the details you need to know.

We’ve had a go at the HTC One X and the HTC One S, now it’s time to let you in on the camera hardware and software involved in both of these marvelous machines. HTC has been adamant about how much time and effort they’ve put into the photo and video capturing elements of this Hero line of smartphones, and from what we’ve seen thus far, they’ve done quite an amazing job at it! HTC One series starts Qualcomm / NVIDIA battery wars
This week we're getting our first look at the smartphone-based next-generation processors of two giants (Qualcomm and NVIDIA) as they sit on the HTC One series reviewed earlier today. What we're seeing is that not only are both of these chipmakers bringing heat to the processing world, they've begun a true war on battery conservation. The HTC One X smartphone contains NVIDIA's Tegra 3 quad-core processor with an extra core for low-powered tasks and sleeping, while the HTC One S contains the Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 chip, made also to keep itself conservative when it comes to draining your power.

HTC One X Review
HTC needed to hit reset on its smartphone strategy. Lulled, perhaps, by several years of leading the Android device market, 2011 brought an incredibly strong push by Samsung and a growing mismatch between the agile software users desired and the bloated, over-stylized interface of HTC Sense. The HTC One X – and the One Series it leads – is the first of the company’s attempt to reclaim its former position, a Tegra 3 toting powerhouse with a big screen, boastful camera and slick design. Still with the specter of the Samsung Galaxy S III on the near horizon, not to mention Apple’s iPhone 5, the One X needs to do more than storm the spec sheet if it’s to make the impact HTC requires. Four Microsoft Courier alternatives for Android
This week we’re hearing quite a bit about a couple of applications for iPad, one of which was created by the folks who were once going to bring you the Microsoft Courier – but what about Android? As it turns out, these two applications for iPad, Tapose and Paper don’t currently have one whole heck of a lot of choice when it comes to such sleekness as Paper. AT&T HTC One X screams through benchmarks
