Hantech Siso Tablo Review

By Steven Grady on Tuesday, May 26th 2009 1 Comment

It’s been a long time coming. Due to several snags, such as finding a PC copy of Photoshop and Illustrator and an artist to test out the capabilities of the Tablo, I’m a bit late in getting this review up. If you forgot what the heck a Tablo is, the device turns any laptop into a tablet PC, enabling drawing, control, and other functions all directly on the screen of the computer. The Tablo is a fantastic device, and amazingly inexpensive ($99) making it a must have for any graphic artist, business user, or student who likes to hand-write notes in class.

The Hantech Siso Tablo is a handy device that attaches to your laptop screen and turns it into a tablet PC. It took me 5 minutes to set up and install the software, and I was up in running with no trouble at all. The Tablo runs for $99 MSRP, and is a solid investment for students, business users, or artists.

We were notified by the organizers of Show Stoppers that the Tablo from Hantech was worth checking out, and I’m glad we did. The Tablo turns any laptop into a tablet PC, enabling the user to write on, interact with, and control the computer through two devices: a special pen, and a receiver that attaches to the top of the screen via a small magnet.
