T-Mobile Offers Caller ID, A First For US Carriers

T-Mobile announced today that it will be the first major US carrier to offer a name-based caller ID similar to what's long been available to landline users. Although mobile users generally save contacts by name into address books on their handsets, there are those times when someone's contacting you for the first time that would make having a name ID more convenient. T-Mobile Expands 4G Network to 56 Additional Markets in the USA

So you thought you had a lot of markets, you carriers you? Check out a bit of the ol' expansion at the hands of T-Mobile! Here we've got a list of 56 markets that T-Mobile will be expanding their HSPA+ 42 network into. That's T-Mobile's bigtime 4G network, incase you did not know, and with the sweetness already hitting 170 million Americans in 152 markets, one ocean to the other. This exceeds what T-Mobile is saying was their initial goal of reaching 150 million Americans with increased 4G speeds by the middle of this year and, keeping in mind that they've already reached 200 million Americans in more than 190 markets, we're gonna go ahead and say they're doing pretty well. Ramsay have conducted a survey of carrier retail stores to see which smartphones were their top performers. T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide May Arrive July 27

T-Mobile's myTouch 4G Slide, also known as the HTC Doubleshot, is now rumored for a July 27 release. Back when T-Mobile's roadmap leaked, it was believed that the device would hit stores by July 6. FCC documents showed up on June 1 that further supported an imminent launch. But now a purported screenshot of an updated list of T-Mobile launch dates has surfaced and reveals that the myTouch 4G Slide may have to wait another three weeks. Read The Full Story

What I’ve had the pleasure of working with today is a neat new phone for T-Mobile called the Samsung Exhibit 4G. We have mentioned this device in the past but today we have a little hands-on time to show you this little thing of joy. Apparently I’m colorblind and call it pink in the video but it’s more of a purple-violet color. What Samsung has delivered is a great mid-range Android phone for those that don’t need the best and today I’ll show you why.

T-Mobile Nexus S Finally Gets Google Talk Video Chat Over 3G/4G

Google Talk and Apple FaceTime both offer nice video calling services, but they differ in that FaceTime requires a Wi-Fi connection to work. Google's offering was more ideal, but it didn't quite pan out for T-Mobile customers. T-Mobile myTouch 4G Slide official: QWERTY Android with boosted camera

T-Mobile has officially announced the myTouch 4G Slide, the carrier’s latest Android smartphone and another QWERTY handset from HTC. Packing HSPA+ connectivity for T-Mobile USA’s 4G network, the myTouch 4G Slide has a 3.7-inch WVGA touchscreen and an 8-megapixel camera; it’s that camera which the carrier is most proud of, though, with improved low-light performance thanks to a new f/2.2 wide aperture lens and a backlit sensor, along with the claim of zero shutter lag and in-camera HDR.
