LG LU6200 spotted in photos, now called LG Optimus LTE

There's a device out there made by LG, one that's got the most powerful dual-core processor LG has ever offered on a handset, one that's got 4G LTE speed capabilities right along with the ultra-powerful motor. This device has a few names already, a code name LG LU6200 and an obvious street-name, that being the LG Optimus LTE, and now we've got a few in-real-life photos of the beast as well. While this isn't the first dual-core smartphone LG has ever offered, their first being the LG Optimus 2x (aka T-Mobile G2X, the world's first dual-core smartphone in its first iteration), it's certainly the most impressive.

T-Mobile G2x Price To Increase Tomorrow?

Since T-Mobile pulled the LG G2x from its online store yesterday, there has been plenty of speculation on what's going on and what's to happen next. At first it was thought that the phone was pulled due to quality issues, but that was later rebutted by T-Mobile reps saying that popularity and inventory constraints were the reason. And although they admitted to some issues that needed fixing, the phone is apparently still popular enough that they intend on raising its price.

Yesterday, its was noticed that T-Mobile's G2x had mysteriously disappeared from the carrier's online store. A search for the device only turned up accessories but not the phone itself. TMoNews had first suspected that the device may have been pulled due to several quality issues that the phone has been experiencing since day one. However, this morning T-Mobile responded via Twitter with a different reason for the disappearance.

The T-Mobile G2X smartphone is the best Android device on the T-Mobile network we reckoned when we put our review of the smartphone up not too long ago. The device has nice performance and one of the things that we lamented a bit was the fact that the G2X didn’t have Gingerbread flavor of Android running. However, we were hopeful since the G2X doesn't run any major OS modifications, updates would come sooner rather than later.
