LG Optimus 2X hands-on [Video]

LG’s Optimus 2X was the first NVIDIA Tegra 2 powered “superphone” to be announced, though we know it won’t be the last; Motorola has since announced its own dual-core Android device, the Motorola ATRIX 4G. NVIDIA develops Android Skype HD video calling for Tegra 2

NVIDIA has developed an Android Skype HD video calling reference platform, using the VoIP company's SkypeKit SDK. The implementation, demonstrated at NVIDIA's CES 2011 press conference today on an Android tablet, relies on Tegra 2's native high-definition video processing capabilities, and promises cross-platform HD video calls. NVIDIA push Tegra 2 for Superphones plus Tegra Zone app

Tegra 2 isn't new, but NVIDIA is hoping that 2011 will be the year that the dual-core mobile processor comes into its own. Last we heard of "superphones" it was Google trying to brand their Nexus One as such; now NVIDIA is seizing on the title to describe devices packing multi-core CPUs, speedy GPUs and frugal power requirements, the first device being LG's Optimus 2X. AT&T Motorola ATRIX 4G official: HSPA+ & Webtop dock

AT&T has announced the world's most powerful smartphone, the dual-core Tegra 2 1GHz Motorola ATRIX 4G, that like the Samsung Infuse 4G will use the carrier's HSPA+ network. The Android 2.2 smartphone has a high-res 4-inch qHD display, and will optionally come with a super-thin "Webtop" laptop dock - complete with an 11.6-inch display - for when you need to do more text entry.
