Sony Ultra HDTV’s add original series, Interstellar to 4K lineup

Sony's line of 4K Ultra HDTV's are designed to provide incredible resolution, but 4K video offerings are still slim pickings. To counter the lack of 4K content available, Sony isn't just adding to its library of content on its 4K Video Unlimited service for its Ultra HDTV's. Sony is charging ahead and making its own 4K video content with the new TV series, "Powers". Sony also just added Christopher Nolan's Interstellar to its UltraFlix 4K video library.

Next Apple TV rumored to be missing 4K video performance

A new incarnation of Apple TV will be revealed later this year, and the rumors are in: it will be lacking 4K video support. Apple is usually viewed as an early adopter of new, futuristic technology. So, why isn't it clamoring to be the one of the first set-top boxes for the cable-cutting crowd to offer 4K video capability, especially if the A8 chip running the latest generation of iPhones is reputed to be capable of 4K?

Pandora CFO talks streaming music, calls Apple a ‘frenemy’

We know how we feel about an Apple streaming music option, and we’re sure you have likely formed an opinion or two yourself. Will we ditch our chosen streaming option for Apple’s? Time will tell, as the service is believed to come to fruition at WWDC this year. Apple tipped to be poaching Tidal talent for new streaming service

Apple tipped to be poaching Tidal talent for new streaming service

Streaming is getting serious, and finally beneficial for artists. With Tidal, Jay-Z created a service that gave much of the power back to artists. Via a private beta program, those in the UK with a PlayStation 4 — and who are members of PlayStation Plus — can be among the first to sign up for the PlayStation Now network in the UK.

Sling TV Review: Taking TV back

Sling TV Review: Taking TV back

As I write this review, SportsCenter is on in the background. I’ve not watched ESPN in years — actual years — so this review is like revisiting a memory. I’m a bit of a cord cutter (I still get Internet via the cable company), and there are several reasons for that. Sling TV brings cable back into my life, but in the best way possible.
