And since Stuff Live, the biggest gadget show in Britain, is set to happen this weekend in London, we’re always excited to get a sneak peek at what’s to come. Like this lounge chair that hovers, for instance. Now this is something I’d like to see.
We’ve been waiting for this announcement for quite some time and now it’s finally here. LucasArts and BioWare have come together to create Star Wars: The Old Republic, an MMO that takes place in the world of Knights of the Old Republic, in case you couldn’t guess.
What a mash up this is! Someone has taken those sweet little girly figurines, My Little Ponies, have been turned them into Star Wars Stormtroopers. So fans of the epic saga should listen up!
Don’t you just love Wiimote peripherals? They’re so versatile. And since the Wiimote just has to pop into them, they can be in the shape of practically anything. One of the games I’m looking forward to the most this year is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Thankfully it seems that we’ll only need to wait until August to get our first real hands-on look at the title, as LucasArts recently announced that the demo will be coming next month.

You’ll need to be almost obscenely wealthy to win this eBay auction: one of four original T.I.E. Fighter models used in the filming of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. In fact, this is the Fighter that helpfully collided with Darth Vader and allowed Luke to blow up the Death Star, constructed from resin and cannibalized parts from other model kits. The auction doesn’t officially kick off until August 1st, but if you fancy you could drop an absentee bid at the starting price of $170,000.
