It was suggested on one hand that the CEO of Motorola was on his way out, and on the other hand that Comcast was about to lay down a plan to purchase Time Warner Cable. Then there were Lenovo earnings and NVIDIA earnings and Netflix announced they'd be getting the final season of Star Wars: The Clone Wars: The Lost Missions as well - as an exclusive release!

Back in the year 1995, before Star Wars was released as a set of "Special Edition" movies, before the idea that a set of prequels would be created was made solid, the film series was released to VHS. On these tapes - on the 1995 edition of these tapes, that is - a long-running interview was included before each film began. The first of these interviews was published digitally - officially - for the first time today.

Speaking at the Television Critics Association summer press tour yesterday, J.J. Abrams talked about his upcoming Star Wars efforts, as well as elaborating on some things to the folks over at The Wrap. Abrams confirmed the script for the much-anticipated Star Wars Episode VII has been wrapped up, and that they're all "working really hard" and "in deep prep. Full steam ahead, y'know."

Coming completely out of left field with a release of Star Wars headphones - officially licensed and everything - was 50 Cent and SMS Audio. It’s difficult to describe the way this new cross-section of Star Wars headphones looks and feels without being there with them in your own hands, as it were. It’s almost as if they’re made to look like they’re made for children, but continue to impose the possibility of high-end sound - an interesting market to be going after, for sure.
