Sneak peek at Soul Calibur IV box art

, Mar 11th 2008 Discuss [1]

There are a lot of games that I am excited about this year. One of which is Soul Calibur IV. Not only have the first three games rocked enough to keep me wanting to play a sequel, but the inclusion of Darth Vader and Yoda as playable fighters is just awesome. Here's a peek at the box art for the 360 and PS3 versions. Read The Full Story

BioWare is confirmed to be working on Knights of the Old Republic again

, Feb 14th 2008 Discuss [0]

If ever there was a good time to be a Star Wars fan, this would be it. We've got The Force Unleashed coming this summer (which looks incredible) a new MMO in the works, a movie due out in August (animated of course), a new TV series and now a new KotOR game from BioWare. That's right, BioWare is working on a new KotOR. Read The Full Story

Darth Vader to be playable in The Force Unleashed, will be voiced by Chad Vader

This probably won't come as a surprise to most, but I don't read Vanity Fair, in fact I don't think I've ever been to their website before today. However, I have found myself on their site for longer than I care to mention today. No, I wasn't reading about politics or an upcoming film, but about Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. They had a very in-depth article Read The Full Story

Rumor – New Star Wars MMO won’t be developed by BioWare

Way back in October we heard a juicy rumor that BioWare was working on a Star Wars MMO. This was some kick-ass news considering what an awesome job they did with KotOR. Unfortunately that rumor has been confounded by another rumor. Well, kind of. Read The Full Story

Behind the scenes of Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

, Jan 28th 2008 Discuss [1]

If you asked me what game I'm most looking forward to this summer, it would have to be Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The game has so many cool things going for it, as you get to use the Force in ways never even heard of in the Star Wars universe. Just the thought of playing as Darth Vader's secret apprentice brings back the kind of excitement I haven't felt for a Star Wars title since SOE ruined Galaxies. Anyway, hit the jump for an awesome video that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at the physics engines behind the game. Read The Full Story

Star Wars Flash Drive tutorial

, Jan 16th 2008 Discuss [0]

If you aren't happy with those tiny USB drives that always seem to run away when you need them most, you might need a more bulky solution. That way you can spot it on your desk without having to strain your eyes too much. I assure you that although it is a little massive, it's not heavy and won't snap off in your computer or anything equally destructive. Read The Full Story

Nokia N-Gage Launching Next Week

The entire platform isn’t quite ready, which sucks, but if you have an N81 you’ll have access to it. Furthermore, there are just a couple games on the list, but I guess they had to fake it until they make it with this one, especially if they wanted to hit that end of 07 mark. Read The Full Story

Millennium Falcon computer mod

, Dec 5th 2007 Discuss [0]

In more recent years I've become a bit of a Star Wars dork, I probably would have as a kid but I didn't see the trilogy until about 6 years ago. I know, I was a sheltered child. These days though, I'm always a sucker for Star Wars inspired toys and gadgets. This computer mod definitely gives me that warm fuzzy feeling. Read The Full Story

Check out this Wii (not-a) lightsaber

Technically, it can’t be a lightsaber, because that requires licensing from Lucas Arts and blah blah blah buearocratic BS. Anyways, it’s a “Light Sword” that your Wii remote clips into. There aren’t yet any proper Star Wars games for which to use this sword with, but there is Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga. Or you could use it with any other games that have some swording action, like the mythical Fencing 2k8 from EA sports, yeah right. Read The Full Story

Rumor – BioWare is working on a Star Wars MMO set in the KotOR era

, Oct 23rd 2007 Discuss [1]

I'm something of a WoW addict these days, but my first MMO was Star Wars Galaxies. I played back when the game didn't suck. Of course SOE decided to take the game in a new direction, and completely destroyed the game as we knew it. Sure, it's not bad now, but it's a completely different game, and I have no desire to reactivate my account. However, there is hope for a good Star Wars MMO in the future. Rumors peg BioWare as working on a new MMO set in the Star Wars universe in the same time period as the Knights of the Old Republic games. If there's one thing that can steal me away from WoW, it's a new Star Wars MMO. Read The Full Story
