Staples becomes first US retailer to sell 3D printers

While 3D printers having been for sale for quite a while now, it seems they're gaining enough popularity to begin selling in major retail stores. Apple accessories at Staples are available now

Earlier this month, Staples announced that it would become an official Apple reseller and would begin selling Apple products in its stores and online in the US. Today is the first day that Staples has begun selling Apple merchandise, and it seems they're starting out small for now, offering only accessories and other smaller products like the Apple TV and AirPort devices. Staples to begin carrying Apple devices

It looks like Apple and Staples has come to an agreement that will allow Staple to sell Apple's products through its U.S. retail stores. The first confirmation came from Regis Mulot, Senior Vice President of Global Human Resources at Staples, who sent out a tweet saying, "After Canada, #Apple products arecoming to #Staples in US. Great news!". We assume that Regis Mulot was a little too trigger happy with his tweet because it was deleted soon after. Staples Easy 3D printing service set to launch in 2013

Staples is set to launch its own 3D printing service in 2013 called Staples Easy 3D. Alas, however, it is slated for launch in Belgium and the Netherlands, so most of us will have to shelve our 3D models for now.
