Libratone Lounge and Live AirPlay Speakers hands-on [Video]

Boutique wireless speaker manufacturer Libratone has pounced on AirPlay, announcing a pair of new all-in-one units – the Lounge and the Live – back in July that each use Apple’s streaming technology, and we caught up with them at IFA 2011 this week to listen to the results. The Live looks identical to the Libratone Live we reviewed earlier this year, but swaps AirPlay for the company’s proprietary wireless, while the Lounge is a far larger system intended to be wall-mounted under your TV.

Sony unveils SRS-BTV25 and RDP-V20iP smartphone 360-degree speakers at IFA 2011

Sony is at IFA 2011 with a hoard of new gear for geeks to lust after. One of the new items Sony is showing off gives your smartphone balls, or at least one ball. The ball shaped speaker is called the SRS-BTV25 and it comes in black or white colors. It is designed to have a 360-degree soundscape. Hercules unveils fall/winter line of speakers for computers

Hercules has a bunch of different computer accessories and other gear. It has been a while since we talked about the company and the last time we did was back when the firm unveiled the eCafe EC-1000W netbook. This time Hercules is talking up the new line of speakers that it has for notebooks and netbooks for the fall and winter. In all, there are five new sets of speakers coming to market from Hercules. Jawbone JAMBOX LiveAudio Update Hands-On

Today Jawbone has announced a software update to their JAMBOX, a bluetooth speaker which we’ve previously reviewed quite positively. This new update includes what’s called LiveAudio and is included with the totally free JAMBOX Software Update 2.0 available on the JAMBOX companion webpage MyTALK. AudioCubes shows off weird looking Ozaki iSuppli Gramo iPhone charger

I have seen plenty of chargers and speakers docks for the iPhone, but I have never seen one quite like this. The device is called the Ozaki iSuppli Gramo iPhone Charger and it looks like an old record player with a horn on the side. Libratone Live and Lounge AirPlay speakers

Libratone has unveiled a pair of new AirPlay speakers for your music that includes the Libratone Lounge and Live speakers. Since yanked - but still available in Google's cache - the page detailed the Sonos Play:3 and described it as a "smaller, sexier, tuck in a corner and blow out the roof, all-in-one player." SlashGear Week in Review – Week 29 2011

Welcome to this week's edition of the SlashGear Week in Review, let's get to it! The Vol Speaker concept turned up this week with a design that makes it look like a big volume knob. The concept has a rechargeable battery inside for portable listening. We learned that Android 3.2 fixes the screen incompatibility for apps that were previously handset only.
