Panasonic SC-ZT2 full-wireless 3D audio system outed

Panasonic have announced their first "full wireless" 3D audio system, the Panasonic SC-ZT2, promising Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD 7.1-channel surround-sound with only two speakers.  Each slender speaker houses four one-inch tweeters together with an integrated long-stroke woofer; they all point down, reflecting sound off of the floor so as to mimic a regular surround-sound setup.  Meanwhile there are also two new surround bar speaker systems, the SC-HTB10 and SC-HTB500.

JVC have outed a pair of new home cinema speaker systems targeted at users who'd prefer to fill their room with sound rather than cables.  The JVC TH-BA3 and TH-BS7 are each soundbar systems: the TH-BA3 has a front soundbar, wireless rear stereo pair and a wireless subwoofer, while the TH-BS7 forgoes the rear speakers and instead goes on a serious diet to measure a mere 1.4-inches tall.

Yamaha have been quietly plugging away at their soundbar technology for a while now, and their latest model looks to be the most alluring yet.  As ever, the concept is straightforward: why have a room stuffed full of speakers when a single row of them - together with some clever digital processing - can reproduce the same effect.  Targeted at TVs up to 50-inches (as well as projector setups), the Yamaha YSP-5100 packs 120W and five HDMI ports.
