Samsung Galaxy Note III, Xperia Z1 release dates spilled by 3 UK roadmap

A prospective roadmap of releases has been leaked today detailing the upcoming arrival of both the Samsung Galaxy Note III and the Sony Xperia Z1, aka Honami. These devices have been tipped as getting their first full showing during the Berlin-based festivities at IFA 2013 at their own unique events on the 4th of September. If this release schedule is correct, both devices will be on the market in the United Kingdom by the end of the month.

Xperia Z1 Honami appears from all angles

There's a device out there in the wild by the name of Honami - code-named by Sony for their next-generation follow-up to the Sony Xperia Z, complete with specifications made to out-do the previous model. This device appears today in a series of hands-on photos snapped by an intrepid Sony even-goer in China. These images have subsequently been deleted by said user, suggesting therefor that they should not have been captured in the first place.

As tipped all the way back near the middle of July, Sony's Lens Cameras (DSC-QX10 and DSC-QX100) once again appear to be upon us. These cameras are appearing in press images this afternoon courtesy of Sony Alpha Rumors both on their own and attached to the Sony Xperia Z and Sony Xperia i1, aka Honami. The DSC-QX10 as well as the DSC-QX100 will be working only when working with a Sony smartphone, meaning they've got their own hardware inside not normally found in the body of a replaceable lens system.

Several press images have appeared this afternoon with three of Sony's upcoming photo-friendly products in plain view, the first of them being the Sony Xperia Honami. This fabled phablet-sized iteration of the Sony Xperia Z has been tipped to be working with a 5-inch AH-IPS display with 1080 x 1920 pixels across its front, and it's popping up here with a new Sony "Lens Camera", as leaked by Sony Alpha Rumors, along its back. As you'll see plainly, this showing has Honami's 20-megapixel camera sitting aside this bigger device, more than likely doing not a thing while the Lens Camera aims and fires.

This week there's been suggestion that the next Google Nexus device would be made in collaboration with Motorola - a team-up that's been expected since the two companies became one last year. This device is set to out-do the Xperia Z in several ways, one of which in its camera at 20-megapixels, complete with a brand new set of features in its software interface.
