Oh you PlayStation phone, you sassy little lady. You've been walking around these internets for over a month now and there's not a moment of you on film yet - but wait! Someone has one in Greece? Find them! Take a video! Oh goodness, who would have thought the PlayStation phone, aka what Techblog.gr calls the Sony Ericsson Z1 PSP phone, aka codename Zeus would have found it's moving self into these internets via it's namesake's birthplace? Sony Ericsson's PlayStation Phone is poised to make its debut at Mobile World Congress in February 2011, according to the latest leaks, with the company likely to use Sony's BRAVIA branding to describe the high-quality display and internally aiming for a $500 unsubsidized price. That's the word from MobileCrunch's trusted tipster, who suggests the Android-based smartphone offered "the best gaming experience [they've] ever had on a mobile device."

Sony Ericsson’s PlayStation phone rumored for MWC 2011 reveal

Sony Ericsson's PlayStation Phone plans have garnered a new layer of speculation, this time courtesy of the company's own head of mobile communications. CEO Bert Nordberg admitted to the WSJ that "There's a lot of smoke, and I tell you there must be a fire somewhere," before going on to say that "I'm very glad that we work with a company like Sony, who actually knows how to [negotiate games rights]" and tipping a big product reveal at Mobile World Congress in February 2011.

Sony Ericsson dismisses Windows Phone 7 and tablet rumors

Sony Ericsson France CEO Pierre Perron has confirmed that the cellphone company is in talks with Microsoft regarding the possibility of using Windows Phone 7 for future smartphones, but has suggested that the strict specification and software limits imposed mean the likelihood of adoption is low. "[With] Windows [Phone] 7 we run the risk of standardising our smartphones" he told French newspaper Les Echos, "we would be obliged to fight only on design and price, which we want to avoid."

Leaked Sony Ericsson ANZU is 4.3-inch replacement to XPERIA X10? [Updated]

Let's not get ahead of ourselves here, but according to the latest Android rumors you may just be looking at Sony Ericsson's successor the XPERIA X10, currently codenamed ANZU. XperiaX10Blog's source reckons the smartphone has a 4.3-inch display along with an HDMI output, and that Sony Ericsson is aiming to release the ANZU in Q1 of 2011.
