SlashGear JapanSony Ericsson’s MBS-100 is disconcerting. It sits there, looking as though it might sprout legs or roll away at any moment. This 4 inch matte black orb looks snazzy, but the design face is asymmetrical, which has just enough of an effect that I unwillingly pause every time my eyes brush over it. The speaker was designed to work with Sony’s Walkman phones, but it is compatible with any A2DP Bluetooth device. The speaker’s weight is less than 8 ounces and, combined with its single charge battery life of 5 hours, it is easily portable.
