The Daily Slash: June 22nd 2010

Did it feel like Wednesday to anyone else? We had to check our calendar's a few times today, just to make sure it really was Tuesday. You'll have to forgive us -- we don't get out much, as you can probably imagine. In any event, welcome to tonight's edition of The Daily Slash, Tuesday-style. Tonight, in the Best of R3 Media, we've got some more Cease and Desist letters being handed out, Apple's sold a ton of iPads, and the iPhone 4's showing up at Walmart. The Daily Slash: June 18th 2010

Well, here we are. At the end of the week, looking ahead to the weekend. Two days of good, old-fashioned relaxation. Unless you have to work. Then, well, ignore all of that. Either way though, welcome to tonight's edition of The Daily Slash. While we're not going to officially give it a nickname, but you could call tonight's Slash the Robot Night. In the Best of R3 Media, we've got an eReader app launching on Android, some miserable numbers for the Kin, and some good news for Motorola (maybe). And then, in the Dredge 'Net, we've got the Hyperion 4-legged robot, a super-device, and mini dancing robots.

We're at the tail-end of the week, but that's not slowing us down. Welcome to tonight's edition of The Daily Slash. We're glad you could make it, as usual. And then in the Dredge 'Net, Microsoft is promising a new mobile OS -- kind of, there's already someone waiting for the iPhone 4, and there's even more doubt about the HP Slate.

In the Dredge 'Net, it looks like T-Mobile's not getting the iPhone, someone made a real-life Stargate, and meet the first solar hybrid air conditioner.
