Ridley Scott to produce Halo Digital Feature for Microsoft

Ridley Scott is the man that was behind some of the most popular science fiction films of all times. Scott was involved with great films like the Alien franchise and Blade Runner. More recently, Scott was behind the movie Prometheus and we got to talk to him about the project. Rumors circulated earlier this year that Scott would be making a Halo film, but Microsoft lifted boot and squashed that rumor quickly.

Star Wars 7: 30 years later, R2-D2 returns

While we’ve still gotten no solid answers on if C-3PO will be making an appearance, it would seem that the one and only R2-D2 will indeed be ready for action for Star Wars 7. One of the most fanatically followed television series of all time, Doctor Who, will be given a jolt of nostalgia soon as the BBC can confirm the recovery of a mass of episodes previously thought lost to the vaults of time. This suggestion comes from the BBC itself, suggesting that a total of 106 episodes featuring the first two doctors, William Hartnell and Patrick Troughton, will be mined. Though the BBC did apparently - for whatever reason - destroy many of the television show's original transmission tapes through the 1960s and 70s, tapes transferred onto film for overseas broadcast are being recovered now.
