I am not musically inclined so I never really thought about what musicians do to get power to their instruments and amps if they are playing away from an outlet. Sanyo has unveiled a new battery pack called the eneloop music booster that is designed for jam sessions away from an outlet.

You’d think CES 2010 would sate even the most gluttonous of gadget-hounds, but apparently there’s still room for a leak or two.  Sprint’s 2010 device line-up has apparently been leaked, with phoneArena’s tipster providing them with details of handsets ranging from an HTC WiMAX candybar (codenamed A9292) through the Palm C40 (a different device from the existing Pre and Pixi) and the BlackBerry Tour 2 9650 (the sequel to the current Tour).

Sanyo’s two newest XACTI Full HD camcorders only saw their official reveal a short while ago, but we persuaded some executives from the company to demonstrate the VPC-SH1 and VPC-CS1 to us ahead of schedule.  The most impressive aspect of the pair is the amount of bulk which Sanyo have been able to shave off: the CS1 (the upright model) is particularly narrow at just 1.06-inches wide, despite being able to capture HD footage.

Sanyo have announced two new XACTI Full HD camcorders, one upright and one a more traditional palmcorder-format, and they’ve managed to slim down both impressively.  The Sanyo XACTI VPC- SH1 is the traditional model, with a 35mm wide-angle lens and 30x optical zoom, Full HD 1080p recording and a body that tapers in sharply after the lens bulk at the front.  Meanwhile the Sanyo XACTI VPC-CS1 is the upright model, capable of capturing the same Full HD video as previous high-end XACTIs but only measuring 1.06-inches across.
