This photos is fake, and here's why: the pixels simply do not line up. Samsung’s surging smartphone business leads to strong fourth quarter
Samsung pulled off a mighty impressive quarter at the end of 2011, with 4 trillion won ($3.6 billion) in net income. That's a sizable increase over the previous year's 3.42 trillion won, but not everything in the consumer electronics firm is all peaches and cream. The company saw a woeful decline in its LCD panel business but was able to more than compensate for that with an amazing smartphone library.

Galaxy Nexus found on Verizon MAP for November 10 at $299
It appears that there's a rat in the house at Verizon, vermin just loving the idea of letting loose some key information on future products via a MAP which includes not only the Samsung Galaxy Nexus, but a device by the name of HTC Rezound as well. These two devices will be released on the 10th of November if this little chart is to be believed, and both of them will be priced at $299.99 right out of the gate. Judging by the rest of the items on the chart, it appears that this price may well be the price ON a 2-year contract - but of course it's the name that counts the most, isn't it - Galaxy Nexus. Sounds kinda tasty, doesn't it?

USA Judge finds Samsung infringing on Apple iPad patent
Samsung has been having one whole heck of a lot of trouble with Apple accusing them of infringing on patents around the world, this newest accusation holding sway in none other than our home turf, the USA. Samsung could handle a ban in Austrailia for Galaxy Tabs, certainly no tabs in Germany isn't a hassle when it comes down to it, but America? This could be some big trouble. U.S. District Judge Lucy Koh this week has said that Samsung's Galaxy Tab tablets DO infringe on Apple's iPad patents, but made sure to note that Apple will have a problem proving the validity of the patents in question.

Samsung Galaxy Note headed to USA on AT&T says FCC
It appears that our good friends in outer space have granted the USA a favor and are bringing the Samsung Galaxy Note to the states after all. Today the FCC is showing an AT&T-bands-toting Samsung Galaxy Note, HSPA+ that is, this allowing us to dream that the Galaxy Note will indeed be reaching the states in a lovely blue fashion - at least at first. The Galaxy Note is what Samsung is calling their new in-between product, bridging another gap between products, that being between smartphones and tablets, in this case. Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, Galaxy Note, and Wave 3 revealed by Unpacked app
Samsung may have inadvertently revealed three of its upcoming products when they released their Samsung Mobile Unpacked teaser app on Android Market. The app is meant to reveal Samsung news and events as they develop at next week’s IFA 2011, which is the largest consumer electronics show in Europe and takes place in Berlin, Germany from September 2 to 7.

Samsung’s Media Hub Will Feature Movies and Next-Day TV Shows
Samsung is rolling out the announcements tonight, and sure enough, they took some time to focus on their now famous Media Hub. We all know that streaming media is one of the main focuses of our mobile devices, and it’s good to see that Samsung is taking it seriously. Their Media Hub is now official, as of tonight, and the Samsung Epic 4G should be getting an update OTA to make its presence known.

By now, you wouldn’t think there was much left in the Samsung Galaxy S family that could still surprise us. After the success of the original European model, followed by launches on AT&T and T-Mobile, the Super AMOLED Android smartphone is now heading to Verizon in the shape of the Samsung Fascinate. The news about Verizon getting a tablet probably wasn't a surprise to most people. Considering the second largest wireless carrier in the United States is toting Apple's iPad, there's no shock that Verizon would want to jump on the competition train. Also not surprising: Android's involved. We know that Motorola's planning a 10-inch model of their own, but this new internal screenshot is a bit surprising to the rest of us.

Samsung Galaxy 3 I5800 and Galaxy 5 I5500 Android phones outed
Samsung has outed a pair of new Android-powered smartphones, the Galaxy 3 I5800 and the Galaxy 5 I5500. The Galaxy 5 has a compact 2.8-inch QVGA display, making for one of the smallest Android devices around, with dualband 3G (900/2100), a 2-megapixel fixed-focus camera with LED flash, WiFi b/g and Bluetooth 2.1+EDR. Meanwhile the Galaxy 3 has a 3.2-inch WQVGA display, 3G, a 3-megapixel autofocus camera, WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 3.0.
