This device is set for the top of the middle-market with a Texas Instruments OMAP4 dual-core processor inside and a 10.1-inch 1280x800 display up front. At the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S III in London coming up extremely quickly it's been tipped that yet another Galaxy tablet might make an appearance as well. At this point it might make more sense for us to report the days that there's not a tip, rumor, or actual confirmed announcement of a Samsung tablet, would you say? Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 delayed for quad-core upgrade [UPDATE: Samsung denies]
The folks at Samsung have been tipped to be holding back the next steps in their tablet evolution with not only the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 but the Galaxy Note 10.1 as well, both of them set for an upgrade to quad-core processors at launch time. Both of these devices were originally set to have dual-core processors of one kind or another, but due to the extremely quickly changing times in the tablet market it seems, they'll be upgrading both to their next-generation Exynos chips with four CPU cores instead. This bodes well for the Samsung tablet line as well as the Samsung Galaxy S III smartphone which is set to be revealed next month.

Samsung leaks their Espresso line of tablets
This June we're likely to see a set of new Samsung tablets, these coming right after the Galaxy Tab 2 line with another 10-inch model and another 7-inch model as well. This set of tablets from Samsung is called "Espresso", this being a code name for whatever manufacturer decides on for a name at launch time. This information was leaked by FrAndroid in a 2012 roadmap for Samsung aside a tiny mention of their next flagship phone, the Samsung Galaxy S III.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0 Review
There’s a brand new Samsung Galaxy Tab tablet in town, and this one is what Samsung hopes will be a whole new experience driver for the whole hardware family. Where what we’ve seen before from Samsung has been a set of tablets that tried to be everything at once, this and the 10.1-inch version of the Galaxy Tab 2 are both aiming more at the services they can provide with other devices rather than concentrating on that plus content creation plus gaming plus a partridge in a pear tree. What we’ve got here instead is Samsung’s suite of connected services encapsulated in one machine – and it feels nice to use, too!
Motorola and Samsung tablets touted by Google’s Page
This week in an interview that also included more volatile comments surrounding Apple's press down on Android, Google's Larry Page spoke on which devices he worked with on a daily basis. Most interesting, though perhaps most obvious, were his choices for Android tablet. When asked if there were an Android tablet that he was happy with, he replied with two brands Google has worked rather closely with over the past few years: Motorola and Samsung.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 launch re-set for end of April
The release of two of Samsung's newest efforts in the tablet business, both of them Galaxy Tab 2s, have been set for the end of April. The release of both of these Android 3.0 Honeycomb tablets (ICS in the end) was supposed to be set for March, and now that the entire month of March has passed, Samsung has re-announced the release of both for the end of April instead. Here we're seeing what very well could be the amount of time Samsung needs to upgrade both tablets to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich before their official drop.

Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7 Full Size Keyboard Dock Review
Just this past week we got our hands on the Galaxy Tab 7.7 LTE, a perfectly excellent tablet from Samsung carried by Verizon and reviewed and full by us. This week we’ve got our hands on the official Full Size Keyboard Dock, as it were, and it’s looking to be the perfect companion for this already pretty nice little device. What we’re going to look at here in this relatively brief review is build quality, speed of connection, and expansion abilities – spoiler: it does pretty good in all these categories.
Is a Google Phablet Next?
Samsung has done it with the Galaxy Note, LG jumped on board today with the Optimus Vu: will Google and Motorola phollow in their phablet phootsteps? We won’t know how the Vu holds up until Mobile World Congress in a week’s time, but already the phone/tablet hybrid segment is getting interesting. The lingering question is whether phablets are the standout form-factor of 2012 or merely a fad, and it could be Google and imminently-acquired Motorola Mobility that swing the decision one way or another.

The Samsung tablet wave continues with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N and the Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus N Wi-fi, both of them complete with a dual-core processor and Android 3.2 Honeycomb aboard. These devices will be running Samsung's custom TouchWiz UX user interface over the tablet-centric Android 3.2 and will come in 3G and Wi-fi-only versions. The 3G version comes complete with support for quadband GSM/GPRS/EDGE as well as dualband UMTS/HSDPA+ up to 21 Mps/HSUPA - speedy!

We're now reviewing some pricing details for the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 announced earlier today, and if these number stick to release day, we've got not doubt that Samsung has a rather larger blunder on their hands. The Galaxy Tab 2 was announced as a low-cost update to the original Galaxy Tab, otherwise known as the first real effort on earth to create an Android tablet. This new tablet has a 7-inch 1024 x 600 PLS LCD display, a 1GHz dual-core processor, and a 3-megapixel camera - perfect for a $240 price point - thats about half the cost we're seeing here in an apparent Euro price schedule.

Samsung has outed its latest tablet, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 (7.0), the Ice Cream Sandwich successor to the original Galaxy Tab model from 2010. Built around a 7-inch 1024 x 600 PLS LCD display, the new Galaxy Tab 2 has a 1GHz dual-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM, along with WiFi and a 3-megapixel rear facing camera.
