Friday has come and gone, which means that the weekend is here once again. The latest iPhone 5 rumors have propelled Apple's stock to its highest point ever, and it turns out the company's funds will go toward helping tap a recently-discovered underground river in Crook County, Oregon. Earlier today we saw a picture of what was reported to be the Samsung Galaxy Note II, but later on in the day Daniel YU informed everyone that it was just his mock-up used without his permission. That's disappointing, but his mock-up looks great, so be sure to check that out. Read The Full Story

This morning it's time for the leaks to come rolling in, starting with the Sony Xperia Tablet - all thin and new looking. Two "pre-human" species have been found in another awesome day in science that'll be bringing new understanding to us on the whole "where did we come from" question. There's still a bunch of Agent Orange over in Vietnam from the conflict they (and we) had about 40 years ago - now we're going to help get rid of it with super-heat. Read The Full Story

Samsung didn’t create the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 to compete with the iPad, but the inevitable question that pops up in the mind of everyone considering a new tablet purchase does end up being that almost no matter what: do I want this, or do I want an iPad instead?

, May 13th 2012 Discuss [0]

This week we’ve gotten the next Galaxy Player family member in the house with the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. What’s that, you say? The Galaxy Tab 2 is a tablet and not a Galaxy Player? I beg to differ, ladies and gentlemen, as the Samsung world has done a big split in recent months, with no less than the Galaxy Tab 2 line heading in the direction of the media player while the Galaxy Note line (including the 10.1, for example) moves in the direction the Galaxy Tab 10.1 original started in back at Google I/O in 2011. Have a peek at what the Tab 2 line continues here in the 2 10.1 for the media world.
