Galaxy S 4G Revealed by T-Mobile on Honeycomb Day

The Galaxy S line of phones from Samsung has just expanded with the Galaxy S 4G. This fabulous new phone will be rocking the house with 4G speeds, a full copy of the movie INCEPTION, and a bunch more surprises including full T-Mobile TV functionality. A 720p video camera on the back, Android 2.2 Froyo installed inside, and a pre-installed 16GB microSD memory card make this phone a slight step behind the rest of the pack as far as being the absolute top notch, but certainly it is heading for the top of the middle heap. Samsung hits all-time record revenue in 2010; dual-core Galaxy S2 & multiple Galaxy Tabs incoming

Samsung has announced its 2010 financial figures, and there are strong results for the company's mobile business. Mobile device sales in Q4 2010 topped 80.7m, up 17-percent compared to Q4 2009, with 280m sales for the whole of 2010. Samsung confirms that a dual-core Galaxy S replacement with a Super AMOLED Plus display (believed to be the Samsung Galaxy S2, debuting at MWC 2011 next month) will launch in the first half of 2011, while also announcing that it "will complement its Galaxy Tab with a range of devices to optimally meet various user needs." T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G confirmed: HSPA+ model “coming soon”

T-Mobile USA CEO Philipp Humm has confirmed that an HSPA+ version of the Samsung Vibrant is "coming soon" to the network, as the T-Mobile Galaxy S 4G. Joining the T-Mobile Sidekick 4G, PCMag reports, the Galaxy S 4G is expected to have the same specifications as the existing Vibrant, but update the modem to support T-Mobile's HSPA+ network. Samsung Galaxy S2 packs 8MP camera & dual-core Orion CPU tips insider

Samsung isn't exactly holding back when it comes to teasing what it has for MWC 2011 next month, with its "Evolution is Fate" campaign promising a replacement for the best-selling Galaxy S, and spec tidbits continue to leak out of Korea ahead of the big reveal. According to Nocut News, the Samsung Galaxy S2 - internally known as the Samsung Seine - will use the company's new 1GHz Orion processor, based on dual ARM Cortex A9 cores, paired with an 8-megapixel camera and Android 2.3 Gingerbread. Samsung “Evolution is Fate” teases Galaxy S replacement at MWC 2011

As we saw in the run up to the Galaxy Tab launch, Samsung loves a good teaser; it seems the wags in the marketing department couldn't resist the temptation to run something for MWC 2011, too. Samsung S5830 “Galaxy S Mini” leaks

Images purportedly showing an upcoming compact Samsung Android smartphone have leaked, prompting suggestions that the company intends to launch a Samsung Galaxy S Mini variant imminently. The Samsung S5830, according to SamFirmware, has a display smaller than the Galaxy S' 4-inches, paired with a 5-megapixel camera with LED flash and a chassis that looks certainly at least a little inspired by the iPhone 4. Samsung SH100 WiFi digicam gets remote Galaxy S control

Samsung has unveiled its latest WiFi-enabled digital camera, the Samsung SH100, with a 14.2-megapixel CCD sensor and a 3-inch LCD preview display. It's the wireless connectivity that makes the SH100 particularly impressive, however. Not only can you use it to upload photos and video direct to Facebook, Picasa and YouTube, among others, you can also pair it with a Samsung Galaxy S and use the smartphone to remotely preview the frame, snap the shot and even GPS tag it. Samsung Galaxy S Moves 10M units worldwide

The iPhone is a cool device but the thing that many hate about the smartphone is that it is only offered on one carrier in the US. The AT&T network is not that great and fans of the iPhone have been waiting since the device first hit market for it to come to other carriers. Samsung Galaxy S successor due at MWC 2011

Little surprise, perhaps, but Samsung Korea has apparently confirmed that MWC 2011 will mark the debut of the Samsung Galaxy S successor. According to Korean news site Chosun Ilbo, Samsung confirmed yesterday that the replacement Android smartphone would first be shown in February next year; specifications and launch name haven't been mentioned, but the assumption is that the "Galaxy S2" will feature a dual-core processor, NFC and Android 2.3 Gingerbread.
