Galaxy S III gets a taste of Tech21 orange goo protection

, Aug 8th 2012 Discuss [0]

Now that the Samsung Galaxy S III is out on the market not only internationally but with each of the main five carriers here in the USA, it's time for the purveyors of next-level protection, Tech21, to grab hold. The group known as Tech21 lives in a world of Impactology in which they've demonstrated with us that the same orange mess we used to purchase as Silly Putty or Gak is made much more adult as a protection agent against - you guessed it - heavy impact. With this junk in the Snap Case for our Samsung Galaxy S III, we've nothing to fear from drops, tosses, or even bashes. Read The Full Story

Samsung Music Hub pricing takes stab at iTunes and Google

, Jul 31st 2012 Discuss [0]

It's time for the real life launch of Samsung's own Music Hub, a streaming music application and service the software and hardware manufacturers hope will give them an edge against Apple's iTunes in the cloud and Google Music. It's not going to be easy contending with what Google has: a completely free service with connection to the Google Play store that users already use, and it's certainly going to be a challenge taking on the iPhone solution since the apps are both OS-exclusive. But what we've got here is a tried and true service that already exists in Europe - so why not make it a reality in the USA as well? Read The Full Story

, Jul 27th 2012 Discuss [0]

This week we’ve gotten our hands on the rarest of the Samsung Galaxy S III models in the wild, that being the AT&T Garnet Red. The differences between this device and the white or blue versions of the device carried by AT&T are few and far between, with the red front, back, and home button shining uniquely in the palm of your hand. What you’ve got here is a sort of pattern extremely similar to what we’ve seen with the blue version of the device, just Garnet Red in this case.
