A series of Samsung smartphone and tablet-like devices have been leaked in a roadmap that very much appears to be showing the first full quarter of the manufacturer's 2013 market year. This roadmap comes from TechnoBuffalo (as the slides here make clear) and they're reasonably certain that their sources are legitimate - from what we're seeing here and the collection of tips from sources we've seen over the past few weeks, we're inclined to believe it as well. What you're going to see here are a set of Samsung devices that, other than the first entry with the Galaxy Note 8.0, appear to be mid-to-lower-tier entries for the international end-user.

Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 tablet tipped for MWC 2013
In less than a month we'll be seeing a brand new collection of devices prepared for the masses at Mobile World Congress 2013, and today's tip suggests that a Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 (8-inch tablet) will be amongst them. With two sizes of Samsung Galaxy Note out on the market besides the first 10.1-inch tablet Note, it's not too much of a stretch to think Samsung wouldn't also bring on an 8-inch version of this S-Pen-toting lineup. This machine has today been connected to previous leaks of device codename GT-N5100, spoken about in the past as a 7 or 7.7-inch beast that's never seen the light of day.

Samsung Galaxy Note III said to use Exynos 5 Octa CPU
While we've been hearing a lot about Samsung's rumored Galaxy S IV lately, we've also been hearing quite a bit about the supposedly upcoming Galaxy Note III. The follow up to 2012's successful Galaxy Note II should be coming sometime later this year, and The Korea Times has apparently spoken to an anonymous Samsung official who claims the phablet will come equipped with a 6.3-inch screen. Samsung details Premium Suite and 4.1 Jelly Bean update for original Note
Samsung has confirmed that the original Galaxy Note is in line for an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean upgrade, complete with the Premium Suite functionality from the newer Note II that adds split-screen navigation among other things. The new software, Samsung says, will include the ability to run two apps simultaneously on the Note's 5.3-inch display, along with polishing to the way screen clippings can be captured.

Discovered Samsung Exynos exploit opens door to major malware problems
It isn't that often we get to write about an exploit that is both awesome and horrible at the same time, but today we're doing just that. A user over at the XDA Developers Forum has gone searching through Samsung Exynos kernels and has found one whopper of an exploit. This exploits affects a number of Samsung-made devices, along with potentially any device using an Exynos 4412 or 4210 processor and Samsung kernels, so a lot of Android users should be on the look out this evening.
