Samsung Galaxy Note S tipped, GSIII release date dropped

This week another brand new set of Galaxy devices have been tipped, those being the Samsung Galaxy Note S, the Galaxy S II Plus, and the Galaxy S III - a device we've already heard quite a bit about this year. The Galaxy S III has been tipped once again to be having a spring release, specifically Turkey being the place and the release date being the 13th of March - this again may line up well with Mobile World Congress 2012 or could point towards an announcement right after the fact. As Unwired View notes, the Galaxy S II Plus then could represent the same half-step-up that we've seen in the Galaxy S Advance this past week. Read The Full Story

AT&T Galaxy Note LTE hits stores Feb 19 for $300

AT&T’s Samsung Galaxy Note will hit stores from February 19 priced at $299.99 with a new, two year agreement, the carrier has announced, though online pre-order customers can get the LTE smartphone up to two days early. Officially launched at CES earlier this month, the AT&T Galaxy Note keeps the 5.3-inch 1280 x 800 Super AMOLED HD display and digital stylus of its GSM counterpart, but throws in 4G networking.

AT&T’s Q1 2012 roadmap leak reveals HTC Titan II date and Sony Crystal tablet

AT&T recently announced several new devices at CES 2012, and now more details have emerged on pricing and launch dates. According to BGR, the carrier will be releasing two Windows Phone handsets with the Nokia Lumia 900 and the HTC Titan II, which we've spent some hands-on time with before. The company will also be releasing several Android devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket HD, Samsung Exhilirate, Sony Xperia Ion, and a yet to be announced Sony Crystal tablet. Samsung S-Pen stylus could show up in tablets next

Samsung is considering adding S-Pen digital stylus functionality to future tablets, borrowing the pen-input option from the Galaxy Note for larger models as it boosts data-entry methods. Asked whether Samsung saw the Galaxy Tab line-up expanding beyond mere finger control, "I think a pen interface continues to make a lot of sense across a number of screen sizes, like the larger is more obvious of those" product marketing manager Ryan Biden told Laptop. Samsung Galaxy Note White hits the UK today

The folks at Samsung have dropped the white bomb on the United Kingdom today with an almost surprise release of the Samsung Galaxy Note in white. This device has been released in black back in November, but as you know, everyone likes to get their devices in pearl these days to match their winter hats and so forth. Users will be able to pick up their purchases exclusively from John Lewis on Oxford Street London starting on the 23rd of January. Read The Full Story

AT&T data plans ramp to $20, $30, and $50

There's a bit of a change going on in the world of mobile on the network with the world as its icon: AT&T will be flipping up its data plans to include a three-tier system, each one with a $10 bump over the last. The change here between this set of prices and sizes of data allowance and what's currently in place is $5 and a bit of space: where now it's $15 for 200MB, $25 for 2GB, and $45 for 4GB with tethering, soon it will be $20, $30, and $50 for 300MB, 3GB, and 5GB with tethering, respectively. It's a bump for a bump when it comes down to it, and cheaper cost per byte when it comes down to it. Read The Full Story

Samsung Galaxy Note to see Verizon as Galaxy Journal

It's become apparent, if sources speaking anonymously are to be believed and sense is to follow, that the Samsung Galaxy Note will be coming to Verizon after all, this time re-named as the Galaxy Journal. This breaks the trend of the other three main carriers here in the USA getting one Samsung product while Verizon is left out, or vice versa, here the Galaxy Note coming to AT&T first, then to Verizon second, then the other two MAYBE soon after. In the case of the Galaxy S II, the other three carriers got the device while Verizon held back because of the device which came out soon after, the Galaxy Nexus, which Verizon then got the temporary exclusive on. AT&T Samsung Galaxy Note LTE in white hands-on

There's certainly no big amount of difference on the inside of this device when you compare it to the black version of the Galaxy Note, also coming to AT&T soon, but the obsession with the white chassis continues, and the white note looks so good, your humble narrator says, that it deserves its own separate hands-on. I say separate because we did get a hands-on earlier this week with the other color for this device, that being a lovely charcoal black front and back, but now it's time to get pearly with a white that accents not only the monster scale of this device, but it's USA-only set of four capacitive buttons below the display.
