Samsung has begun pushing out Jelly Bean for the Galaxy Note 10.1 LTE, the 4G-enabled version of its stylus-toting tablet, complete with simultaneous voice and data support over LTE. The new update - which will initially be pushed out across three South Korean carriers - adds VoLTE support to the tablet, in addition to the niceties the newer version of Android delivers, and Samsung's own tweaks such as Multi-Window.

The artist / designer known as Futura 2000 has executed a rather interesting set of collaborative projects in his lifetime, painting a portfolio of historically significant cross-overs that’s lead him straight to Samsung. The folks at Samsung took the opportunity very recently to team up with Futura for the first time to present a unique use-case for the Galaxy Note 10.1 (tablet with S-Pen stylus) and its major potential in the hands of this creative icon and legend. In our interview we found that though Samsung presents this man as a larger-than-life hero here in their second collaboration (here using the Galaxy Note II as a central device), he’s actually quite the down-to-earth conversationalist, and has shown his approach with the Galaxy Note device series to be made with the same intrigue as your everyday average gadget enthusiast.
Samsung gearing up to blast Apple in new commercial
With Samsung's courtroom loss to Apple still undoubtedly fresh in the mind of its executives, the company is gearing up to take a few hits at the iPhone maker in a brand new commercial. The Verge reports that production on a new Samsung commercial has gotten underway, and like some Samsung commercials in the past, the aim is to show iPhone enthusiasts what they're missing out on. In other words, we can probably expect this ad to ruffle some feathers.

I’ve tried to bring a tablet to a press conference before, with and without a physical keyboard accessory to pad its ability to work as I need it to, and it’s never good enough. I’m not just talking about a Samsung Galaxy Tab or a Note, not just an iPad, not just an ASUS Transformer of any kind – all of them; they’re all made for entertainment.

If you thought the fabulous accessory lineup that came with the Samsung Galaxy S III was about to stop with the smartphone, you were wrong. Galaxy S III and Note devices added to Apple case vs Samsung
The USA legal case between Apple and Samsung has been amended to add several devices including the original Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet, and Galaxy S III. This complaint does not yet include a request for a ban on these products, but does make it clear that Apple wishes to include them in the set of Samsung devices that Apple says infringes their patent rights. The full list also includes such devices as the Galaxy S II, Galaxy Nexus, and Galaxy Player devices as well.

There are now several devices on the market that Samsung has added its “Note” brand name to, this week adding the Galaxy Note II for a larger screen than the original with a whole new styling in its case as well. With the birth of the Galaxy S IIIcame the dawn of a new smooth generation of aesthetics for Samsung, this spilling over first into the tablet universe with the Galaxy Note 10.1 then hitting the Galaxy Note II. With this tie-up came brand recognition that was all Samsung’s own, and with two devices on the market with the same styling and many of the same abilities, its become time to make with the comparisons.
Jelly Bean set for Galaxy S III and Note 10.1 “very soon” says Samsung
An update to your Samsung Galaxy S III and Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 are right around the corner in the form of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean - so says Samsung. It's at IFA 2012 that the company made the announcement that the software would be hitting both devices "very soon" as it were, with the Samsung Galaxy Note II having been announced earlier in the event they spoke at as coming with Jelly Bean right out of the box. This duo of devices currently works with Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

SlashGear Evening Wrap-Up: August 24, 2012
Friday is here once again folks, and what a Friday it was. What started out as a relatively slow news day became very exciting later on, as the jury deciding the Apple and Samsung case delivered their verdict after only three days of deliberation. The verdict? Let's just say that Apple's lawyers will be having a celebration tonight. Samsung was found guilty of multiple patent infringements, and a lot of that patent infringement was found willful by the jury. To make matters worse for Samsung, the jury found that it wasn't owed any damages by Apple. Needless to say, we think there will be an appeal.

Galaxy Note 10.1 beats iPad in IHS teardown
There may be a debate concerning which tablet between the third-gen iPad and the Galaxy Note 10.1 is the better choice for consumers, but when it comes to profit margins, IHS has found that Samsung is the clear winner. A preliminary teardown performed by IHS shows that Samsung is making a pretty healthy margin on the Galaxy Note 10.1, though the company warns that the figures in its report only represent the cost of manufacturing and hardware. This means that after things like licensing and marketing are accounted for, the profit margins on the Galaxy Note 10.1 could take a bit of a dip.
