The Windows Phone device appears scuffed and marked up, indicating Falorin has had it in his possession and been using it for some time now. A CNET reporter recently tracked down the meaning and nature of a barge moored to Treasure Island, a former Navy base in San Francisco Bay. The barge, which has been built up with shipping containers to resemble a floating, mostly windowless, four-story building, largely matches a Google patent for a floating data center filed in 2009. Rumors have been popping up recently about what to expect in the next-generation Kindle Fire tablet series, and full specs for the next-gen entry-level Kindle Fire have been leaked, but it's nothing too special, other than that the new entry-level Kindle Fire will have the same internal guts as the current entry-level Kindle Fire HD.
Word has already gone around that a Nexus 10 reboot is heading our way in the near future, but while Samsung was responsible for the production of the 10-inch Google slate, it's rumored that ASUS will take over manufacturing and will become the sole manufacturer of Google's Android tablets.
Following Edward Snowden's NSA-related leaks, government intrusion into one's data via the technology that permeates our lives has been a hot-topic issue (again), spurring other leaks and anonymous statements of arguably less grand proportions. One such example is a report by The Wall Street Journal this evening, which spoke to former U.S. officials and sources familiar with technology they say the FBI uses to spy on suspects.
It's very likely that we'll see an updated iPad mini later in the fall, but rumors about whether or not it will include a Retina display have been flying around like swarms of flies. However, another report claims that a Retina-equipped iPad mini will arrive sometime in the fourth quarter, with the display being made my Samsung.

Specs of the next-generation Kindle Fire series have been leaked, and they're a doozy.
