Today we heard that the iPad Mini might mean the end of the iPad 2, and that a jailbreak for the iPhone 5 will coming shortly. We learned today that T-Mobile will be holding a product event on October 29 - the same day that Google and Microsoft are holding events - and that the prices of the rumored Mac Mini and iMac refreshes might be staying the same.

New Angry Birds Star Wars teaser shows they’re too short to be stormtroopers
In typical fashion, Rovio has released another teaser for its upcoming Star Wars-themed Angry Birds sequel. It's a lot similar to the last teaser we saw, in that it shows a short clip from A New Hope, followed by another short clip that features the Angry Birds in some fashion. This time around, Princess Leia and an Angry Birds stormtrooper make an appearance.

Angry Birds update arrives with 15 new levels
Hot on the heels of Rovio's recently launched spin-off of the Angry Birds series, Bad Piggies, the developer has released a set of new levels for the original Angry Birds game that are based off Rovio's newest title. Welcome to Tuesday evening, everyone. Earlier today, we found out that Samsung may be planning a Nexus 10 tablet, complete with a resolution to give the third-gen iPad a run for its money. ZTE gave its response to yesterday's allegations that it may be helping the Chinese government spy on the US, and Apple started shipping the fifth-generation iPod Touch to the first customers today. We heard that the rumored 32GB Nexus 7 variant might be replacing the 16GB model, and speaking of the Nexus 7, it received Android 4.1.2 today, which adds a much-needed landscape mode.

Fake Bad Piggies app infested 82,000 Google Chrome users with adware
If you happened to get in on the Bad Piggies action recently, let's hope you didn't accidentally download and install the fake version in the Google Chrome Web Store. It turns out over 80,000 Chrome users are now being affected by the adware, which installs a plug-in that displays advertisements when you visit popular websites.

Angry Birds Star Wars details continue to spill
Those of you waiting for the release of Rovio's Angry Birds Star Wars game release will have to wait until November 8th, but for now, you've got details upon details spilling in all directions. What we know thus far is that you'll be working with Angry Birds that are specific to their character - Luke Skywalker, Rebel Pilot will be one without a doubt. What we've also learned since this morning's big re-announcement is that Angry Luke will be carrying a lightsaber - and that Han, Chewie, Leia, and the rest will be bringing their own heat as well.

We've arrived at another Friday evening, which means that the weekend lies ahead. Today, as many of you probably already know, was the one-year anniversary of the passing of Steve Jobs. Apple paid tribute to Jobs in a new video released today, and it was announced that three modified MacBook Pros will be auctioned off in memory of Jobs. On the lighter side of things, Lenovo is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the ThinkPad with a look back through time, and Samsung's profits for Q3 2013 managed to break company records (not an easy thing to do, considering how popular Samsung is).
