By the time Wednesday's screenshots had hit, we assumed that Rockstar would release another batch today, and it turns out we were right.

Rockstar deals another round of Grand Theft Auto V screens

On Monday, Rockstar gave us a trio of screenshots from Grand Theft Auto V, and teased that more were coming later on in the week. Whereas Monday's screenshots gave us a look at the various modes of transportation found in the game (including a fighter jet!), this new set offers a glimpse at some of the leisure activities you can (presumably) partake in.

The company has released two new screenshots today that should give you an idea of the generic visual aesthetic and setting of the game. The game doesn’t look like a radical departure from 2008’s Grand Theft Auto IV, but does seem to have undergone a graphical polish to bring it up to date with modern titles.

According to VGChartz ranking the week ending on the 12th of May, Diablo III has taken both versions of Max Payne 3 to lunch, pulling in a total of 59,463 pre-orders for the week while Max Payne for Xbox 360 brought in 19,263 new pre-release customers and the PlayStation 3 release saw 10,152 new pre-release cash tossers. Rockstar Games Max Payne 3 Bullet Time trailer released

Rockstar Games Max Payne 3 Bullet Time trailer released

The latest entry in Rockstar's orchestrated campaign to release a bunch of Max Payne 3 trailers, each one showcasing a very specific part of the game, is one that focuses on a feature called "Bullet Time." What it really should be called is "that awesome bullet effect that The Matrix used and now everyone copies," but that just doesn't have the same ring to it. In any event, this latest video really plays up how cool the graphics and effects will be in the upcoming title.

Max Payne 3 Trailer channels Big Lebowski

The next installment in the Max Payne series of hard-hitting video games is coming on soon, and as today's newly released trailer suggests, it's going to have a rather familiar story line. The idea that the video and the plotline look but dont necessarily feel like the cult classic film The Big Lebowski comes from Dan Stepleton from GameSpy, and because he's so very, very right, we've gotta go one step further. Have a peek at the trailer in its entirety below as well as some clip-for-clip similarities with the comedy action film.

Grand Theft Auto 3 set for NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core optimized play

Grand Theft Auto 3 set for NVIDIA Kal-El quad-core optimized play

You may remember back in the middle of October when it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 3 would be coming back for a 10th anniversary edition that'd work with both Android and iOS - now it appears that NVIDIA is getting in on the action with Rockstar, providing their next-gen Kal-El (aka Tegra 3) quad-core processor-toting Android tablet to the group so that they can optimize the game for ultimate supremacy. Word comes this week from Adam Rosenberg who this week had the opportunity to check the soon to be released game out on the unnamed Kal-El NVIDIA tablet, an iPad 2, and an iPhone 4S. With the Kal-El tablet came the biggest surprises, both in that the game was running not on the tablet itself but through its TV-out connection, and secondly that Android's ability to work with USB controllers is programmed into the game so that an Xbox 360 controller works perfectly well!
