Ricoh unveils new PJ Projector line

Ricoh has unveiled a new line of projectors that is called the PJ series. The series has five different models including the PJ X3131, PJ WX3231N, PJ WX3131, PJ X3241N and PJ X3241. The range of projectors has many of the same features and they are all aimed at the business user needing high-performance. The projectors will sell for $800 to $1200 each and they vary with different resolutions, network connectivity, and USB features.

Ricoh has announced the launch of a new digital camera that has Quick Shooting capability. The new camera is called the GR Digital IV and it is the latest evolution of the line. The camera uses a Hybrid AF system and has image-sensor-shift Image Stabilization.

Ricoh color e-paper display promises 2.5x brightness

Ricoh has revealed a new color e-paper technology that, the company reckons, offers 4x the color range of existing systems, along with 2.5x the white reflectivity brightness for cleaner text and images. On show at SID 2011 this week, the new display uses a lamination electrochromic method of production which forms separate cyan, magenta and yellow organic layers between two substrates.
