This isn’t a bad memory of Diablo III. You’re not going to be trading your items for real cash in a market on Titanfall’s newest update (Update 5). Instead it’s a simple system in which you’re able to sell Burn Cards for credits and spend credits on Burn Card Packs and other oddities. It’s actually kind of neat.
This week several job listings have been discovered added to Respawn Entertainment’s board, three of them pointing toward a new type of game in the wake of the original Titanfall. A Software Engineer, a Senior Character Artist, and a Senior Animator have been sought. Each of these positions is seeking "experience working on 3rd person action/exploration games."
This afternoon Titanfall is nabbing an update for both its Xbox One and PC iterations, this update bringing about some major changes for all players. This is not a DLC pack that costs cash - instead it’s one of many free updates that’ll be coming to Titanfall players around the world through the lifespan of the game.
This afternoon the folks at PlayfightVFX have released the second clip and first E3 2014 teaser trailer for the live action movie series Titanfall. This is the same Titanfall you’ve been playing as a game on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and the PC through Origin, this time made into a live action series of videos. This one minute and 25 second segment shows you what the rest of the series is aimed at looking like - as close to the game as possible.
The folks at Respawn entertainment are being tested by fans of their first massive title Titanfall. As an online-only, multiplayer-only release, this game was going to see some hurdles as it was released in such a unique fashion. One very recent way in which Titanfall has been tested is in the release, retraction, and re-release of the game mode Capture the Flag.
Respawn Entertainment have come forward with a companion app for Titanfall. This app acts as an information guide for those wishing to research weapons, game modes, levels (for the game’s Multiplayer Campaign), as well as expanded universe. You'll also be able to work with in-game guidance with a live map, if you do so desire.
Three new Titanfall maps for a ten-spot - not a half-bad deal, right? That's what you'll get with the very first DLC for the Titanfall franchise - one called "Expedition" - three maps called Swamplands, Runoff, and Wargames. Today we’ve got a bit of a preview for those of you that’ve not yet taken the leap and a bit of judgement for those with a ten dollar bill burning a hole in their pocket as well.
The first DLC for Titanfall has been revealed in full, and today we’re having a peek at gameplay within its three new maps. This game will include a barrage of updates in the coming days and weeks for all players, while this map set will include 3 maps only available to those who purchase the DLC.
It’s nearly time to jump into the jungle. This feed begins at 12PM PST (noon today), and will last for an unknown amount of time - likely over an hour into the afternoon.
