Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches: are you onboard?

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 launches: are you onboard?

The countdown has officially begun, and not the one leading up to the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, but the one that marks the time before the entire world has access to the game so that they might play together online. Over in England at London's Old Billingsgate Market there's been a gigantic launch party with music, dancing, and running at high speed as the game was handed out to attendees - or there would have been if 574 Game and Gamestation stores across the country hadn't also released the game to queues of fans having waited for hours before launch. The world record lies on the line, the entertainment-industry record for most revenue generated in its opening five days having been set by the last Call of Duty game, Black Ops.

Marvel Comics The Avengers first full-length trailer released [Video]

After much buildup including FOUR feature-length individual movies for each of the heroes included in this supergroup of a movie, May 2012's Marvel Comics' The Avengers has its first real trailer. And before you comic book maniacs have a heart attack reminding the world that The Hulk is included in this movie aside those three heroes with the four movies mentioned in the first sentence, know here that not only is this the start of a different storyline for the big green goliath, there's ANOTHER new actor in Bruce Banner's role. Mark Ruffalo as Banner though should be the least of your excitement here, blasts of fire, the hoary hammer of the gods, red white and blue punches of fury and Black Sabbath throughout should sent your hair straight upwards.

Raspberry Pi $25 USB-Sized Computer Nearly Ready for Public Release

Before we begin speaking about how awesome it is that the Raspberry Pi Alpha version boards are ready for shipping, it would be remiss of us not to explain what Raspberry Pi is in the first place. The Raspberry Pi Foundation is a group which is preparing to release a single-board computer for right around $25 USD (aka approximately £ 15 GBP) meant to stimulate basic computer science in schools around the world. What's happening this weekend is that we're being treated to a video filmed by Eben Upton, Director of the Raspberry Pi Foundation, as he shows of the newly shipped alpha boards for this project.

Duke Nukem Forever Collectors Edition Revealed

Duke Nukem Forever Collectors Edition Revealed

For those of you wishing there wouldn't have been a gigantic span of around 12 years between now and the last Duke Nukem title, here's a little present for your wait. This is the Duke Nukem Forever Balls of Steel Edition that'll be coming out the same time as the standard edition comes out for the low low price of $99.99. It might seem a tad high for a game that's basically a shooter from the late 1990's, but can you really put a price on a bust of one of the most offensive video game characters of all time?

LEGO Announces Release of Blind-Boxed Minifigs Series 4

Wow LEGO, you release sets fast! After releasing their first series of Minifigs just this past January, they're apparently getting ready to blast out series FOUR!
