The BlackBerry Venice has leaked again and - though it seems bizarre to say - may end up being the most interesting Android phone of the year. The QWERTY-blessed slider has cropped up on video again, this time courtesy of Canadian retailer Baka, showing off its pop-out keyboard as well as the software tweaks that BlackBerry has made to the Android OS.

iPad Pro keyboard case brings QWERTY to big Apple tablet

This morning Apple revealed the iPad Pro, and along with it, a keyboard case that folds over its front. This device has a physical keyboard that's very thin, able to fold out and hold the iPad Pro up as it sits down on the surface of your desk, flat. Apple suggests that this keyboard is made with a "woven fabric" to create the structure of its keys, and that it'll work with the iPad Pro's "Smart Connector."

BlackBerry Classic gets detailed in spec and photos leak

With the BlackBerry Passport, the BlackBerry "Prestige" Porsche Design P'9983, and the new BlackBerry Blend software, most of the company's roadmap for the last quarter of 2014 have come to pass. All except one. The BlackBerry Classic, the Q20 in previous literature, is still something fans are eagerly waiting for before they call this year done. While that day might be coming soon, we will have to settle for unofficial information, like this latest batch of features and images that paint an almost complete picture of the smartphone.

Fleksy Messenger now available for the Samsung Gear 2

Since the smartwatch came to pass, the question has remained: how can we type on that thing? A small screen doesn’t lend itself to quick thumbs, and with such small keys, how would we get by? Fleksy has an answer, and from the looks of it — a pretty good one.

BlackBerry Kopi proves its existence on eBay

BlackBerry Kopi proves its existence on eBay

Thought BlackBerry was gone? Thought physical QWERTY keyboards have gone the way of the Dodo? Perhaps many thought so too, but BlackBerry clearly doesn't think so, and apparently neither does someone on eBay. A used BlackBerry Kopi, flaunting its glorious hardware keys, is up for bidding on eBay, which is, of course, suspicious considering the device has never been announced.

Typo BlackBerry-esque iPhone keyboard draws lawsuit

Remember that BlackBerry keyboard-looking case for the iPhone that popped up at the tail end of 2013? Looks like BlackBerry saw it too, and they weren't too happy about how similar it looked to their own handset models. LG Enact Android slider keeps Verizon in the QWERTY business

It's not as if the LG Enact was the last device on the planet to offer a full physical keyboard with Android software - though the most recent entry with Verizon was the BlackBerry Q10. This LG device brings a sliding front panel that reveals a full QWERTY keyboard much in the same way that the Motorola DROID 4 did back in February of 2012. There's also a near-identical device by the name of LG Mach that was released earlier this year - not that you'd need to know that if you're sticking with Verizon.

Samsung Galaxy Folder may return flip phone to fashionability with Android

With the Samsung Galaxy Folder, a smartphone from this worldwide manufacturer will single-handedly bring back the fashionability of physical QWERTY keyboards. At least that's what the tip is from Korea along manufacturing lines where the smartphone is said to be being built. There it's rumored that large amounts of reports of "discomfort" have been rolling in on the backs of their massively successful touchscreen-only device lines - and it may be time to create yet another Galaxy handset.
