Remember BYD's Snaptop concept, the Snapdragon-powered tablet with a wireless Bluetooth keyboard hiding in the rear panel?  It looks like someone at Taiji Electronics has been paying attention; they're apparently bringing along their new slate to Computex 2010, a VIA C7 1.2GHz based Windows 7 tablet, and it stores a Bluetooth keyboard in the back section complete with a kick-stand. Acer's mysterious Android tablet may have stolen the show, but their new LumiRead ereader is worth consideration too.  Packing a 6-inch monochrome E Ink display and a Kindle-style QWERTY keyboard, the LumiRead has WiFi - and 3G in a future model - together with an ISBN scanner that can be used to keep a wish-list of titles for future purchase. Acer Android tablet gets brief demo; due Q4 2010

Acer's tablet plans have always been a little more shaky than that of rivals ASUS and MSI, but the company's CEO Gianfranco Lanci has just spilled their latest intent at a press conference in UAE.  Lanci whipped out an unnamed 7-inch Android-based tablet with a hardware keyboard, similar in design to a Kindle, which he reckons will hit the market in Q4 2010. Verizon's announcement of the LG Ally comes as no great surprise - after all, we were expecting the Android handset to go up for pre-order from tomorrow - but it's always nice to have confirmation.  The Ally runs Android 2.1 on a 3.2-inch glass touchscreen, and has a slide-out QWERTY keyboard, WiFi b/g/n, Bluetooth 2.1 and a 3.2-megapixel camera.  It'll land on Verizon's network from May 20th, priced at $99.99 after a $100 mail-in rebate and assuming a new, two-year contract. Details of the Verizon LG Ally have leaked, with BGR being sent internal documents from the carrier that tip the Android 2.1 smartphone for a May 20th release.  The Ally has a 3.2-inch WVGA touchscreen, slide-out QWERTY keyboard, 600MHz Qualcomm MSM7627 processor and a 3.2-megapixel autofocus camera with flash; as well as Android 2.1 there's also a bevy of custom LG widgets that pull in calendar, weather and Facebook/Twitter details to the homescreen.
