Nyko makes a keyboard for your Xbox One controller

Accessories group Nyko have revealed a collection of peripherals for the Xbox One and PS4 this week at E3 2015. They've also revealed a nifty little game controller made for Android TV devices, one that looks like a crossbreed between the Xbox One wireless controller and the DualShock 4. Nyko's come to the party with some strange stuff for your game systems before. Today they've done it again, with a number of peripherals you're going to want to get your hands on immediately.

One game at E3 this year that didn't get the big announcement treatment during yesterday's Xbox One and PS4 presentations is Transformers: Devastation. An action game from developers Platinum Games that features a look exactly like the old 80's Transformer cartoons. To be released this fall for the PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360, the game really ratchets up the nostalgia by getting longtime Optimus Prime actor Peter Cullen to lend his voice.

If there's one theme to Sony's pre-E3 2015 conference, it might be making dreams come true. No, it's that Dreams game from Media Molecule. Among other things, Sony has revealed The Last Guardian, which will finally launch in 2016, hopefully. It has also finally given in to fans and will make, or rather remake, Final Fantasy VII as a first-class PS4 port. And now, it's going to make Shenmue 3 a reality. Well, sort of. What Sony and game creator Yu Suzuki actually announced is the launch of the Shenmue 3 Kickstarter campaign.

A Final Fantasy VII remake isn't the only long-standing wish that Sony is finally fulfilling, or at least promising to, at E3 2015. Sony has announced that the PlayStation 4 will be getting a media player, which will aptly be named “Media Player for the PS4”. If you have the latest PlayStation console, head on into the PlayStation Store — you might be seeing it already, as Sony said during its E3 pre-show press conference that the player would be going live some time this evening. With this users are able to watch content from multiple sources, giving them the oft-requested feature while making the console a little more useful.
