Activision’s Call of Duty: Black Ops II gets trailer

Activision has just confirmed that the next entry in the Call of Duty series will be Call of Duty: Black Ops II. It will be a sequel to the game that set global sales records just a couple years ago. Developer Treyarch, which was responsible for the first Black Ops title, has also been confirmed to be at the helm of the technical side of this new project. PlayStation partners with Major League Gaming

Mass Effect 3 multiplayer challenges finally approved for PS3

After months of injustice, the same online multiplayer challenges that Mass Effect 3 players on the Xbox 360 and PC have been taking for granted are now confirmed for the PS3. BioWare recently confirmed that it was because of Sony, not BioWare, that these online challenges were not being offered through the PlayStation Network. A new Mass Effect 3 multiplayer event has just been announced, and in the wake of the tension that has been struck over the fact that Sony for some reason has blocked such events on the PS3, it's drawing a heated reaction. The new event is called Operation Exorcist. It tasks players with killing no fewer than one million Cerberus Phantom creatures. If they complete the challenge, they win a Victory pack. Crysis 3 official gameplay trailer released
